I think certain things are sacred to certain people, but some things are definitely taken in a lighter respect in comparison to the past...

Actually no it's not. Everything stopped being sacred at 4:32 pm on July 6 1946. Isn't that weird?

However, any given thing may not be sacred to everyone. That's because many different religions exist.
