I have a giant container of fresh blueberries that I need to use. I want to make home brewed iced tea and was wondering if anyone ever made that using fresh blueberries. If so, how did it come out and how much did you use, etc. Thanks for all your answers.

That does not sound good.
I would add some limeade (the frozen kind) and a banana in a blender. Blueberries by themselves do not have enough taste.

Have never made blueberry ice tea that way, but if you had blueberry tea bags, make ice tea as you would normally then put some fresh blueberries at the bottom of each glass and pour in the tea. Top off with a mint leaf...mmm, now I want blueberry ice tea!

try this:
Iced Blueberry Tea

Add two tablespoons blueberry drink base (below) to each glass of prepared iced tea. Stir well and garnish with a lemon slice.

Blueberry Drink Base
4 cups fresh or dry-packed frozen blueberries, rinsed and drained
2 cups water
1 cup sugar

Place blueberries in a saucepan with water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Set sieve or colander lined with cheesecloth over a bowl and pour in the blueberry mixture. Gently press out the juice with a spoon or by twisting the cheesecloth. Discard the pulp and measure the juice into saucepan. Add 1/2 cup sugar for each cup of juice and cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil and cook 2 minutes. Chill and pour into covered jar. Store in refrigerator.

I've never made blueberry iced tea. I have made raspberry tea though. After I've boiled my water I turn off the stove. I place my tea bags in until I feel they have steeped enough. I then take the bags out and put in a few raspberries. The amount will differ on how much flavor you want. After I leave the raspberries in for a while, I take them out and finish making my tea. I don't know how much help that is but there's my two cents worth, good luck.

Why don't you make some blueberry jam? It's simple, just boil a bit of water, add the blueberries and sugar and stir until it forms a jam. Good Luck!

I have made this befor.......I put 2 cups blueberries & 1cup water on to cook. Then I blend to a puree with my hand blender (blender or food processor is fine) Then I take this "mush" & put in ice cube trays in freezer til froze then transfer to freezer bags. Put 1 cube per cup of water & thaw & drink cold or heat & have a nice cup of hot blueberry tea all winter long. ...Oh yes ...add sugar to taste

i would wrap the blueberries in something like a tea bag or cloth and add it to the tea you know how to make.when you remove the other tea bags remove the little packages of blueberries.
