You should support the troops because they are doing the job that you are too lazy, scared or stupid to do. Soldiers are not wash out losers, they are hard working professionals who do their job and do it well. Whether or not you agree with the war, you should respect the men and women who go out there and put their life on the line as VOLUNTEERS so that there isn't a draft which would have your *** out there. They leave their families behind for a year or more at a time to protect the country because they have something that they believe in enough to risk their lives for it.They train hard and work 16 hour days to get ready to fight and protect the country. And besides all that, it's a good job. My husband and I bought our first home when we were 19 and 20 years old and we have money in the bank and two retirement funds. Thats a lot more than I can say for 90% of the rest of the people our age in the country.

ok if you really did serve in the army for a Lengthy amount of time ( and I am Not talking 5 -7 years that is chicken feed) then you do deserve support because then you got those experimental shots for this and that.. so you brain is already frying or your body is decaying for some reason and with out a good drug to help with the pain or to keep you sain It is impossible to do anything else... also The Government says they are their for you after you serve what you don't know is that you are next to last and in some cases The Last on the list of who should we help Because they know you are already domed in one way or another.. So my advice is if you do go in then great I am glad But DON'T get out (If it is Longer than 5-7 years I mean anything after that you are sunk) you will suffer for it in the long run. Now these people who do get in and are all high and mighty they were in and fought for you are usually every one who did get out with in that short time I say this freely because I am An Army Wife of 14 Years and an Air Force and Navy Brat.. My Dad Started in the Air Force and then Transferred to the Navy To work on their air craft carriers... So I know all about the services.. My Grandpa and great grandpa as well as others were in the Army .So this is first hand knowledge here for ya...

Please tell us where you got your information?
What I see is men and women better themselves and keeping the Country free so you can say such ignorant statements.
See, we Military Families don't get mad at people like you for saying this kind of stuff, because we know that you're very angry at life in general, and you just need to sound off about something.
Now, my husband, who has served for twenty years in the Military, is more educated then you will ever be. And guess what? Your tax dollars helped him! SO THANK YOU! We have been able to see the world, ( Right now we're having a great time in Italy! Been here for two years and we'll be her for two more!) And he is receiving his Bachelors Degree within the year, and then when he retires from the Navy in two years, we'll receive a retirement check for the rest of our lives...AND HE'LL HAVE HIS ENTIRE LAW SCHOOL EDUCATION PAID FOR AS WELL!
I would say those that join the Military are pretty smart....They are the ones getting free education to real collages, where as losers like you have to have dead-end jobs.
My husband will one day be an Attorney making an *** load of money, and you'll still be an angry little person who is living in a tiny apartment talking to your cats! I bet the truth is you went and signed up for the Army, and they wouldn't let you in for some reason, huh? But don't worry, I'm sure you'll make shift leader at Burger King sooner then you think!

You seem to have bad issues with the USA military. How about we just totally remove all forms of military in the USA and have no support for this country? Your issue with the military would be solved along with the others that have your opinion. Maybe you would be happier as a Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, or Socialist Rule. Oh, one more thing ,your question you just asked would not be allowed. It would be considered against the government. The type of support is moral support not financial.

First of all, those who join the military are not losers. To join you must have a GED or high school diploma. Most jobs require a clean record on security check which includes credit report. If a person has a minor offense, it can be waived but often severely limits the persons military opportunities.

Shame on you. This Military & past veterans have given you the right to be able to say such completely idiotic things about them.
My son is a Lt. & Ranger in US Army. He is also a graduate of a great University with honors. He had a great job with promotion & raise. He served 2 yrs on a mission for Church at his expense.
His best friend in Army was a Harvard graduate Attorney. They both quit promising careers to protect democracy & allow others & you to be able to say stupid statements.
You should be ashamed of yourself. If not, I bet your Mother is ashamed of you. I know I am ashamed of you & your choice os statements. By the way it is losers not loosers, around not aroung. I love the USA & support our troops at all times.

Are you talking about your own experience?Seem to me like you wouldn't even pass the ASVAB. I don't know where are you getting this info but as far as I know the majority of the troops are educated people and yes they do support themselves. they do their job regardless of what ignorant people think. Just so you know among those you call loosers there's Lawyers, Doctors and health care professionals Pilots, ITs engineers, professors, Vets. Pretty much every profession there is.

LOL......The troops do support themselves. If you think they are doing this just so they can get our accolades are you crazier than you sound. So the military are losers huh? Where are all these soldiers living on the streets. Are you even American? Go away kid ya bother me. I will pray for you should we ever get the draft. You'll soon see who has your back. So I'd be careful who you turn it on.

"Support the troops" is just another code phrase for supporting the clusterfuck in Iraq. There need be no connection between supporting the men and women who fight for their country and supporting whatever "conflict" the government decides to throw people and money away on.

hears an idea, go stand FACE TO FACE with a soldier who just came back from Iraq and ask them that question and see what kind of answer you get. not sure if it will be a verbal answer or just a fist or two to the face though. Personally if you asked me that face to face my little 5' 4" butt would put your pathetic a** in the hospital.
