I think you should kiss, suck and lick it lovingly and at the first sign of a moan or groan, climb and ride. Actually don't waste time discussing this he could wake up on his own, wouldn't it be nice to wake him up with a nice blow j**! It's every man's ideal way of waking up in the morning.

Some people would consider it assault as asleep as no concent... I don't get that as no force and if I was in a relationship said girl would be more then welcome to 'hope on' or paw me or cuddle me whenever as I consider that normal behavour for someone who loves you to be with you...
Ie is their implied consent...?
I would love to eake up to be gettign made love to or blown as long as did not get a fright... then would be upset as thrown you off...

No different to the pet can jumping on you whilst asleep.
The only thin I would be upset over is if you were not on the pill and trying to get pregnant or if just met and no stds checks so what stage is the relationship...
Other then that go for the ribbon and take the photos and whatever else you can get away with... ie make smily faces

from a legal stand point YES it could be considered rape.
however he may be dreaming of you in which case climbing on would make his dream come true.
as for the ribbon not unless he has a very good sense of humour as this could cause an argument about what you were thinking of.
Or worse he could leave you over it.
he could even decide to report you for rape if the sex was without consent. like you could do to him if the situation was reversed (he claimed on you while you were sleeping).

Do it all tie a ribbon, take the picture, then untie the ribbon as if it were a present to you and go to work on it. he will appreciate it....TRUST ME!!!!

Well you said right he is your boyfriend.So only you would know what he likes.Some may dig if you climb him.Others may start complaining that they are tired and trust me you do want to get that feeling, So do what you think he would like you rightly said my boyfriend , his yours not ours and you know how to treat him right

Haha. Acutally, one of the answers said something like, "if he's aroused, it's not rape." that's not true. Though I doubt he'd mind (because he's your boyfriend) I'd stick with the picture.
