Yes, because even though the age difference may not seem s great, in terms of maturity it would be. A fifteen year old is not going to be sexually mature (or responsible enough) for someone of the age eighteen.
If you choose to do so anyway & are willing to take this into consideration, make sure that you do have her parents consent to date her. Do not push her into anything too soon or take advantage of her even if she thinks she may be ready.
The absolute best thing to do would be to wait at least two years & if you still have the same feelings for her then ask her out.

There are legal issues, so be careful there.
Anyway, you need to really pay attention to how mature or not this girl is. Truthfull commuication will be very important, you need to be on the same page about your feelings and how seriosu they really are. She's still pretty young and you could really ruin her perception of men if many things are left unsaid.
Some may question if this matters, sometimes lust is lust and love is love, and we should all just go with how we feel. Well sometimes our feelings hurt other people. And if you can have the ruin of someone's psyche on your conscience, then I can't tell you anything. I'm not being dramatic, you and she both are still in very formative periods in your views of interpersonal relationships. Not that I'm saying ruin would automatically happen in this scenario. Not at all. It all depends on relative maturity and open, truthful communication.

3 yrs. apart isnt' that big of a deal when it's 22 and 25 or 27 and 30, but at this time in your life, it's really not a good idea. You're flirting with the threshold of adulthood. I wouldn't date her if I were you. Wait until she's older. Stay good friends, and see what happens from there. Just a safety procaution. Best of luck.

it's not wrong to date a girl of that age as the cliche goes: in love age doesnt matter. however it would be wrong if you do more than just dating. you know what i mean

No. I think it's age appropriate. But make sure her parents are ok with it. If you really like her then you can wait a year or two, if you choose.
But I think it's alright.

Depending on how her parents feel about it, you could go to jail if you get intimate at all
