I think its about how you feel about yourself, if you think your sexy then chances are so will alot of other people....look at fern on 'This Morning'....she ooozes sex appeal & has a gorgeous slim husband !

For Eric D:

A stone is one of the imperial measurements that didn't make it to the US for some reason, and is equal to 14 lbs. It is quite common to hear it used by folks who live in England.

And for Pop:

Yes, many men do fancy full figured women. It's all a matter of taste--some do, and some do not. I am not exactly a skinny mini, and I have never, ever in my life lacked for either dates or boyfriends. I am married to a very good looking man who actually dumped 3 women he was juggling so he could date me. Two of them were what most men would call "smokin' hot" :)

Many men may be jerks to you (women as well, for that matter) so try not to let it get you down. Just be your beautiful self, and let the true you shine out, and you will find a man who appreciates the real you. After all, the outside is transitory, true beauty lies on the inside.

Answer for Eric D - Stone is the measurement that some European countries use for measure of weight like pounds used in the United States. If I'm right I believe 1 Stone = 14 Pounds. So for people that go by pounds I believe that will equal 196 pounds.

I believe you'll get a variety of answer here. You also need to realize that a lot of young guys are on here and with their age they look at more appearance. I noticed the younger the guys are the more they look for looks/appearance instead of common interest/smarts. The older the guys (more mature) don't really care for the size you are just more how you bring yourself out like appearance and how confident you are. But of course there are those exceptions when the older guy goes by appearance (less mature) and the younger one goes by the inside of the lady (more mature). I believe when the guy looks for that serious relationship they really won't go by your looks that much but more your personality and what you have in common. Now I said "by your looks that much" because you can't dress like a slob. Dress nicely that will compliment your body and show your confidence.

It depends, in future life you could develop medical problems due to being overweight. Altough I have met some large women that I've quite fancied! Plus large women tend to be more fun and have less social complex's. Initial attraction is more likely to happen for thinner women because of how people are programmed to view what's good and what's bad, but what really matters is what you're like on the inside!

A good man will see you for what you are inside, personality, sensitivity, etc. and not just how you look. I was 291 and was almost in a size 26! My husband loved me no matter what. He never made crude remarks, etc. Plus the fact he respects me. That is it in a nutshell.

I started controlling my eating, exercising, and having a better attitude and I am not 216 and feel great. I can't wait to loose the other 30 lbs.

Good luck.....Be yourself....the right man will come along.

Some men love big women, but what is 14 and a half stone?

Some men do! Some because they really aren't superficial, and some like women who might have low self esteem. I was overweight some years back, and I did have a boyfriend who stayed with me for 8 years. He never proposed marriage and always told me how hot my friends were. So, after I dumped the weight, I dumped his ***, too. Bottom line, be sure that you really love yourself, like you might not even need a man you are so comfortable with who you are, before you go a hunting, so you don't settle for less than who you deserve. Good luck hon!

I am sur there are men who fancy overweight women , just like some girl fancy mature and overweight men. But being overweight is not healthy and it will cause a bit inconenviences for family life.

I don't know if they would fancy you for your size alone, but I find that after men have hit thier 30's, body is not quite important as mind.....Ofcourse they still do think with thier willies, so you will have to take care of your looks, and by that I don't me losing weight, I mean appear and feel confident and sexy....that is a true turn on for most men.....if you feel confident and sexy, that is the vibe that you put off, other people can see it and that is what will attract them to you...Good luck, but don't settle for just any 'ol shmuck that turns up, be selective...everyone deserves someone who is right for them, not just someone for the sake of having them

you weigh 14 and a half stone. what do you weigh when your not stoned ? that's the question ? a little weight can be overlooked if its in the right places and not all piled up in certain areas. but i prefer petite women ! but personality along with what i said previously can go a long way .
