Put him or her on the potty before.Wait a minute, if it's a baby, I don't know if you can prevent it. I did read at some point in time that the warm bath can stimulate a bowel movement. Maybe put a swim diaper on and change it when he or she goes. Good luck! Bummer!

I have a lot of friends that went through that! I don't think there is much you can, if the baby is old enough to use the bathroom in there own, I would have them use the bathroom before you give them a bath, but if its a small baby, nothing you can do, you don't want to give the baby a bath with its diaper on LOL!

There's an automatic reflex that causes a baby's body to poop after eating. If you bathe the baby after you feed her, then her body is naturally going to poop at this time. Try waiting until after she has pooped, and then bathe her.
Don't bathe her too soon after she eats, or she will tend to poop.
If she keeps pooping in the tub, and she's older than eighteen months or so, just put a potty chair near the tub and move her to the potty chair right when you see her start to poop. Tell her the poop belongs in the potty. If she's younger, she can't understand this. But even if she's old enough to understand this, she might not have any control at all over her bowel movement. So please have patience!

Logically, remove her as soon as it happens. Then clean her off. The tub needs to be sanitized before you bathe her again. What happens is the warm water causes her sphincter to relax and without any effort on her part, feces releases in the tub. Don't punish or scold her because she isn't even aware it is happening. If you think she is old enough to do it on purpose, set up a reverse reward system. Let her know that if she can bathe and not soil the water, you'll reward her with a favorite treat. Poo in the tub means no treat...literally.

If your child poops in tub bath everynight or atleast almost every night, it would be smart to sit her on the potty before you put her in the bath, even if she's a young baby. Start bathtime a little earlier, maybe she's just too comfy in that bath and just let loose, so sit her on the potty first, even if it takes along time keep her on there until she does something, otherwise as soon as she gets in the bath she'll poop in there. My son use to pee in the tub when he started potty training, so just let her sit there a while.

Every baby pops (poops) in the bath tub. Wipe the baby's butt and get on with life. That is your job.

My dd has done this also. For awhile everyday.
When I notice that she gets still and is really concentrating, I say oh let's get on the potty for a minute. she then goes poopy in the potty and I make a big deal of it. Good girl, your such a big girl yeah!!! Boy oh boy does she smile and clap when this happens
She is not quite old enough to actually start potty training yet. But she she does like the "party" I give her when she does use the potty even if it's not on purpose. I'm hoping that she is getting encouraged and will want to do the potty training thing when it is time.

I think u mean poops...how old is your baby? If he/she is older like toddler age, help turn that into teaching them to go in the toilet. Always be positive with them.
