Assuming that your referring to an automobile...you should junk it for a Toyota. Assuming your referring to the sport of "golf" you should probably give that up as well...

A good body kit, will not reduce the value with nice wheels. Get some tips from http://www.oettinger.de/. Oettinger body kits are expensive, but you can get great tips how to modify. Cold air intake another modification. Keep the original part so that you can fix it back when you want to sell the car.

thomas, this question's in cars, UNDER VOLKSWAGEN. It's not difficult to discern!
From my POV (a potential buyer, say, who doesn't like skirts, cars 2cm from the concrete or neon lights underneath) I'd go for sound systems - nothing too garish, maybe smoothing bumper strips if you have any, adding some chromey bits, putting some nice alloys on it - everyone loves low profile tyres...
Then again you could ignore me, modify it all you want but keep the original parts and put them back when you sell.

Unfortunately, once aftermarket parts are installed on a car it decreases the value.
If you want to mod your golf, keep the OEM parts and when you're ready to sell it reinstall all OEM parts and then sell it.
Then, sell all your aftermarket parts. You'll make more money that way.

I thought the point of golf was to get a low score though. Ask a Scottsman.

Sorry my friend, two penalty shots for not saying exactly what you mean. Do you mean to your golf clubs, your driver etc. Please modify your question and I might be able to help....
