Yes, it's very possible for you to lose 10 pounds in six weeks, and you don't have to use diet pills or do a crash diet either. Here's how you do it:
1. Do some type of exercise every day, even if it's only going for a 15-minute walk, but don't do more than any type of exercise for more than an hour at a time, once a day (you might lose muscle, and you don't want to do that).
2. Eat only when you're hungry (READ: Your stomach must be grumbling). This is your signal that you need food. Eating when you're not hungry will make you gain weight.
3. Don't stuff. Eat smaller portions if necessary. You may have to eat more often during the day, but as long as your stomach is signaling you that you need food, you're OK.
4. No between meal snacks (remember, only eat when you're hungry), only water, diet soda, and unsweetened coffee/tea between meals, and no gum or mints between meals unless it's sugarless.
5. Try to eat/drink more of these:
-- Water
-- Tea (green tea is best)
-- Nuts, any kind (almonds are best)
-- Beans and other legumes
-- Green vegetables (spinach and broccoli are best)
-- Lowfat dairy products
-- Eggs (they're high in protein and "good" fat)
-- Olive oil (also high in "good" fat)
-- Lean meats (fish and poultry are best)
-- Whole grain breads/cereals/pasta
-- Fruit (apples and any type of berries are best)
6. Try to eat/drink less of these:
-- Soft drinks (Diet soda is OK in moderation)
-- Fast food
-- Junk food
-- Anything with high fructose corn syrup in it
-- White breads, processed cereals, regular pasta
-- Trans fats (partially or fully hydrogenated oils)
7. Breakfast is MANDATORY!!! Make sure you eat something within 2 hours of waking up.
8. Allow yourself at least 1/2 a day per week where you can have whatever you want.
That's it! Cheers, and good luck!

Yes it is.
There two things you have to do. A good nutrition and exercise. You have to do both of then in order for this method to work and believe me, it will work perfect.
First about nutrition. Instead of eating one or two times and starving the rest of the day you should eat throughout the day six smaller meals. Breakfast is the most important, NEVER skip it.
Try to eat foods that contain the following ingredients:protein, monounsaturated/polyunsaturated fats, fiber and calcium. Limit your alcohol on three drinks a week and forget about sodas. Drink plenty of water. Limit foods that are high in saturated and trans fats.
Now as far as exercise is concerned, 3 times a week is enough. You don't have to spent your whole day at the gym. Emphasize weight lifting. I am not talking to lift weights like crazy but even light weight lifting is ok. It is very important to build a little bit of more muscle since it will help you to burn fat automatically. Do some cardiovascular exercises the three times a week(20 min, each time) and work your abdominal muscles three times a week as well.
Try to maintain your muscles. Some people starve and loose weight. That doesn't mean that you achieved your goals. It can happen due to muscle lost as well. Sometimes you don't need to loose weight but just fat. You need your muscles because they help you burn fat.
The above guidelines are just a quick guide. If you want to get deep on that its a long story. Believe me it works, i am talking from personal experience. Following that way eventually i lost 25 pounds and the most perfect thing is that now i cheat this plan very often and i don't put weight. The secret is that this is not a diet. It is a way of living. Eventually you change your metabolism and then your body burns fat automatically for you.

That's quite do-able. On a reasonable (not crash) diet, you can easily lose 5 pounds in the first week, then 1-2 pounds a week after.

Yes, it is possible. I lost just over 100 lbs in a span of 8 months about a year ago, without the use of a crash diet, and have kept it off ever since. There are no secrets involved, just making healthy choices with regards to meals, exercise, emotions, etc. I actually have a yahoo group where I talk about how I lost my weight. Feel free to check it out if you want!

A person can usually lose 1-3 pounds a week if they have strict intake of food and do exercise...do not starve yourself, I don't think that losing 10 pounds in a month and a half will probably happen, but you could come close! Good luck!!

Yes, it is entirely possible. Doctors recommend losing 2 pounds a week, and since a month and a half is about 6-7 weeks, that is 12-14 lbs that they'd recommend losing safetly. Just do some good cardio, eat less, eat healthy.

Yes you can, just try to eat healthy and don't starve yourself here's something that has worked for me:
Try drinking fresh squeezed pink grapefruit juice (1/2 a fruit) in the morning with your breakfast, eat light for lunch, try fruits for snacks, completely skip sodas and candy. If you have to eat dinnder try some grilled chicken or a light salad and substitute lemon for dressing and make sure that this is no later than 6 pm.
Jogging and some exercise would be great at the same time.
Also, steamed cabbage or boiled cabbage have been known to help you loose weight. I was told that rather than eating the cabbage after boiling is to drink the water that it was boiled in.
Hope thins helps

Yes, cardio exercise an hour at least 3 times a week, count your calories is probably the best way to diet because you can still maintain a healthy balance of what you eat and eat foods you like in moderation. Fill up on water!!!
