ok which do most guys like better.
~sporty girls
~girly girls that dress preppy and act preppy

i tend to get along with guys better cause there isnt as much drama but i wouldnt go straight to me being sporty. i love to fish, hike, and do other stuff but does that tend to make guys want you more as a friend? Could that be the reason why ive never had a bf??

I like girls who are themselves and not pretenders or players. Simple, outgoing and fun loving suits me perfect.

If by *act* preppy you mean superficial, then this is an easy question. But, girls that *dress* preppy are certainly not all superficial, and I do like the preppy look. Sporty is great too.

I've had two girlfriends who do use the preppy look and love the outdoors. These are not mutually exclusive.

I think guys will choose based on attitude and personality. I don't base my decision on sporty or preppy, I would rather have a girl who i can do activities with together rather than her worrying about getting her hands dirty.
I think if your having problems in finding guys, then the guys you are hanging with aren't looking for someone to be sporty and participate in activities with them. They want a g/f to sit at home and be there when they get back from fishing.

sporty is much better than super girly, but there is a healthy medium between tomboy and ditz. You sound really cool though; maybe guys that have known you for a while feel so comfortable with you that they wouldn't want to risk ruining your already really nice friendship. Try meeting new guys who wouldn't be that attached to you yet, and see how things work out. Good luck :)

are the people that you're doing those things with, people that interest you?

a girl that is sporty, but can also dress for the occassion is definitely preferred.

I like sporty girls better, they aren't afraid to get sweaty or dirty and aren't as "high maintenance" as girly girls. We want a girl we can hangout with, not one that's going to force us to go to the Southern Womens Show.

Personalilty match is not always that simple. It's not always that black and white. If it's a true and lasting relationship you are after, look for a guy who is willing to commit and willing to compromise. You cannot find a perpect person nor a perpect match, but there is such as thing as an honest, trustworthy guy. Trust your instinct, if it's his own happiness he's after, not yours and his as a duo, well he is not a match.
