They don't. Several Christians have told me (with straight faces) that God planted the fossils and bones on the earth as a test. Can you believe it?

Dinosaurs were created on day 6 with the other land animals

As you notice a T Rex fossil in Montana a couple years ago was broken in half and inside the bones were meat, blood cells and viens There have been many non perminaersalized dino fossiles suggesting they are not old as well.

It is no surprize tha Indian heirogliphs and other cultures have wall painting and pottery with detailed dinosauric pictures.

In the book of Job it describes both Behemoth and Leviatihon.
Behemoth is described by God as having a tail like a cedar and was made with man sounds like a Brto like Diplodocus or Apatosoaurus, and Leviathin some swimming dino

Dinosaurs large died out because the world after the flood was less hospitable to them and the Dragon ledgends we have may be the few remaining dinos being hunted down by man
There could be a few lurking in the congo or Lock Ness ibut they are gone or mostly gone

The Bible tells us that God created all of the land animals on the sixth day of creation. As dinosaurs were land animals, they must have been made on this day, alongside Adam and Eve, who were also created on Day Six (Genesis 1:24-31).The Bible, however, makes it plain that dinosaurs and people must have lived together.
The Bible teaches (in Genesis 1:29-30) that the original animals (and the first humans) were commanded to be vegetarian. There were no meat eaters in the original creation. Furthermore, there was no death. It was an unblemished world, with Adam and Eve and animals (including dinosaurs) living in perfect harmony, eating only plants.

dinosaurs do not fit inot the Genesis creation myth
Its a MYTH, its a moral story about man and the creator
A day is defined in Genesis as lasting from sun up to sun down
The bible has got lots of good stuff in it, but don't take it as literal history
If Noah had a pair of every animal, what would happen to the second and third generation of the animals?
People knew then you can't breed brother and sister animals, they are born with defects and do not produce babies
Both stories show the creator's diappointment and compassion with the people
the dinosaurs are hell

Q: Are dinosaurs found in the Bible?

A: Yes

For a biblical study on dinosaurs in the Old Testament, I would definitely recommend using the Authorized Version (AV)/King James Version (KJV) of the Scriptures which were translated into English from the Masoretic text in 1611 [230 years before the word "dinosaur" was available!]. Using a Strong's Concordance, you will find the Hebrew word "tannin" is used 25 times, and is translated as 'dragon(s),''serpent(s),' 'monster(s)' [and, in the more modern versions, improperly as 'jackal(s)']. The key to remember is to look for Hebrew Lexicon #8577.

CREATION WEEK (~4000 B.C.)

DAY 5--[Gen.1:20-21]--Creation of marine monsters (Hebrew "tannin," includes large marine 'mammals' and 'reptiles') and winged/flying creatures (Hebrew "o(w)ph," includes all feathered and non-feathered flyers--even pterosaurs, the flying reptiles!)

DAY 6--[Gen.1:24-25]--Making of dinosaurs and other land creatures, divided among the cattle (Hebrew "behemah," includes all quadrupedal, hoofed/blunt-toed ungulates), beasts of the earth (bipedal/quadrupedal, talon-toed), and creeping things (quadrupedal/multi-legged ground crawlers).

FLOOD YEAR (~2350 B.C.)

[Gen.6:17,19-20; 7:14-15; 9:17,19]--Juvenile representatives of every terrestrial, air-breathing kind (not species), including dinosaurs and pterosaurs, were directed by God to the Ark.

Those outside the Ark would be left to be scavenged by marine predators or be buried and fossilized quickly.

POST-FLOOD PERIOD

MARINE MONSTERS--[Leviathan (Job 3:8-'mourning'; 41:1-34/Ps.74:14;104:26/ Isa.27:1); see also Lam.4:3 & Amos 9:3].

PTEROSAURS--[esp. the bioluminescent flying reptiles (Isa.14:29 & 30:6)].

DINOSAURS--[see Strong's Concordance(KJV) under "dragon(s);" also Exod. 7:9-10 (#8577, not #5175)].

The best dinosaur passage in the Bible is Job 40:15-24 where God speaks to Job concerning BEHEMOTH ["most excellent beasts"--intensive plural of

Day 6 'cattle' ("behemah")], a huge sauropod dinosaur (especially notice verses 17 &19 !!!). Don't forget to ckeck our website for dinosaur publications under "Resources" and...happy dinosaur hunting!

Many Christians argue that a creation day in Genesis is not a literal day. They could be symbolic of epochs in time, for example. Remember, light did not come to the world later, and so there are days that have no measurement of time, not to mention God's measurement of time would certainly be different to ours. The position of the Catholic and Orthodox Churches has been that the Bible is not a scientific revelation and that the days are not literal.

I imagine since He created everything in those seven days that they fit perfectly here on earth with everything else. The Bible never said man didnt live with dinosaurs. In fact read the book of Job, he talks about some creatures that sound like dinos to me.

Between Fred Flintstone and...

After reading the viksikix's link I'd have to say what a load of dinosaur dung "Adam rebelled" what about Eve's complicity?

I figure if you are going to be a creationist you just say God created everything including the "evidence" that was placed there and buried beneath our feet. It is only by sheer human arrogance (a sin by the way) that we attempt to use our feeble sciences to unravel one of God's mysteries. Oh my goodness - that is almost idolatry.

Just believe the Bible. It is literal, it is real, and it is truth, because it was revealed to (sinful) man and is therefore beyond reproach.

My first statement is almost as viable...

When God created the creatures of the land the walking ones where placed. When God created the creatures of the air then the flying ones where there. And when He created the creatures of the water, there where the swimming ones. They died off mainly because of the great flood. Not meteors. The flood changed the atmousphere and thats also why humans now dont live as long as people in the bible.
