It seems that most Christians feel that if you don't subscribe to a religion, then you must be an atheist. What is the mindset here? If you aren't with us you must be completely against us? There are those of us who feel there are questions about our origins that science and philosophy haven't answered yet... but by no means think that any religion we have provides an answer either. What is the opinion on skeptics, agnostics, or even Deists (such as Thomas Jefferson for instance).

I just saw a question where a muslim girl asked about the evidence for Jesus crucifixion. Someone responded with (cut and paste, respecting the spelling errors):
"ok your not a beleiver, so you wont understand........not to affend any one , but it takes faith to no and if you dont beleive in god then you have no faith"

For some, if you question their belief, you are automatically an atheist. bc_munkee was told he was atheist for the same reason, yet he stated he doesn't agree with the atheism position.

Some people have the G.W.Bush syndrome "You are with us or you are against us". I can't say "most christians" are like that though.

your question may be a little harsh....
personally I view everyone to be on a journey -- whether it be walking towards God, walking away from God or just standing still and not moving anywhere much at all.... but the truth is we are all on that journey.
I believe that the direction God desires us to be walking is toward him - but he gave us a choice. And none of us have any right to discriminate against the other... our only right or responsibility is to encourage each other as we all walk on our journey :-)
