they are weak, they have no control for themselves. they seek guidance in something archaic because they are scared to use the brain. it is hard for them to admit in what they believe is wrong. so quick to find an answer in the "books" instead of in reason.

If you were studying maths and had the answers at the back of your text book, you'd be pretty dumb not to check and see if your common sense and rational logic had come up with the right answer. After doing this you might have to start the thought process all over again.
The Bible is absolute truth and the spiritual principles it contains can be applied to just about every area of life. I think of it as my owners' manual as supplied by the Manufacturer. Sincere Muslims think the same of the Koran.

The Bible is the word of God for Christians. The Qur'an is the word of God for Muslims. The word of God is wiser than any human. To give you scriptural answers is the wisest thing, because:
1) They want you to receive the official answer instead of giving you the vain imaginings in their own minds. You, me, we all have vain imaginings. For example, if you ask a Christian who happens to be pro-abortion, "In your religion, is abortion right?" they might say yes, however, they will be giving you the wrong answer. Abortion is killing, and "thou shalt not kill," right? So who's right, the person's own mind, or the scripture?
2) They don't want to misrepresent their faith, they are trying to do it justice.
If someone gives you the scriptural answer, be thankful, because people are imperfect and will foul up all the time. If you read the scriptural answers, you can't go wrong. It's the WORD OF GOD. What better answer than that?

Ok Chritsians answer questions from the bible because only God can answer religous questions Right. And Muslims anwer questions with the Koran because that is what they believe in. Dont you want a correct answer. Only a book can answer.

Because the word of God is living and active. If a person asks me about God or Jesus, my reference will always be the bible. I believe the bible, and the bible alone...to be the inspired word of God.
I don't mean to anger people by quoting His word...I just know the power of it. It is up to the hearer to decide what to do with my answers, however.

that's why i left islam and converted to islam more than 20 years ago up till now. I just can see why God would appear in a man's body, and if woman, why? I just can comprehend why a Just God would appear in human form which He can do, but it would seem unlikely that other animal forms is neglected? Then why would a Just God appear in in a white skinned hebrew, not in a black african or yellow chinese body?Well, in islam, God is infinite.

I get SO tired of that too!! I have a devout Christian friend and every time I ask her a sincere question about her religion her answer is "I have to go ask my pastor." I'm not sure she even she's the irony in that..lol.

Because the Bible is the instructional book of life and if we don't heed what God says we will be in for a rude awakening.

Because The Bible actually says that people like you are going to ask questions to conflict our faith and God gave us the perfect answers right in the Bible.
