In Outlook, why is it that my e-mail display settings seem to correctly apply to all folders except "Drafts"?

Question

Is there something about the "Drafts" folder that it doesn't accept the settings that I've applied? When I change a setting under "Customize Current View", all of the folders change except "Drafts".

For example, I have Reading Pane set to "Right" under the "Other Settings" section. All of my folders show the reading pane on the right, except Drafts doesn't show the Reading Pane (this is just one example) even though it says it is set to "Right".
