as long as you mean it, there should be nothing wrong with just saying it

This is always a tricky one but it depends on how old you are and how deep your feelings are for the girl. Its easy at any age to second-guess someones feelings, but don't; the most important thing is to be honest and truthful with her, they're good qualities, and she'll like you more for sure if you're straight up with her.

Get a situation where you're alone together and let her know that you think she's really great and you love spending time with her. Depending on her reaction, she could be matey or shy or happy. The former is likely to indicate that you'll be friends but thats as far as it will go, but if she's the others then its worth sticking your neck on the line to say that you are really attracted to her. If she likes you, that'll be enough for her to let you know she feels the same.

Just go for it! Maybe things will be different with you. Saying "I love you" is not a bad way to start things off, you know? Besides, I don't think saying so would make her angry, since that is a sweet thing to say! ^_^ Good luck! Tell me how things turn out (if you don't mind). n_n

What is the rush. If you say it to her she may just say it back to you to make you feel better.
Keep truthful about your feelings but don't panic her, tell her "you have a lot of time for her" or you care about her and see her in your life long term ".
Good luck.

Mean it when you say it. Let her know that you'll on her side even she doesn't has the same feelings for you at the moment. Tell her how you feel or she'll never know!! Go for it and good luck!

Tell her how you feel. Let her know you have concerns about her relationship and that you are here for her. Wait on the "I love you" part. Let her deal with the relationship she's in first. You could get your feelings hurt.

it's not the type of thing you surprise a girl with....

if she's been hurt by people who "loved" her then she could be very scared or bitter toward love....

if you are in a relationship with heer I would wait till you know she's comfortable with you...

if you're not in a relationship with her, then don't say you love her, cause she could feel guilted into dating you if she doesn't want to

Personally I think it's best to be honest and just say it. I doubt it would make her angry. I don't see what "I love you" has to do with a bad relationship, just make sure you are sincere when you say it.

I think you need to talk to this girl. Tell her how you feel. Tell her if she is not ready to say she loves you yet or are not sure how she feels then you will wait. Remember love is patient

Kind of make it slow. The first time I told a guy i loved him was in a note in 6th grade.
