check to see if there is a Habitat for Humanity store in your area. lots of good quality stuff there for the home. New & Used. Cheaper than anywhere else you will ever find. Plus, the money goes to a good cause.

Go to the back of most carpet stores and go into their trash container. Go early in the am or about 6 pm after the installers have dumped their trash. Wear old clothing and do not make a mess.

Buy cheap quality new carpet instead. There are not enough hours left in this day to explain to you why you do not want used carpet....

You don't neccesarily have to buy used. Remnants are very inexpensive. Try Menards or Lowes or Carpetland. They all have remnants for less than store prices. In fact carpetland is having a huge remnant sale right now, with free padding.
