Hi. not sure what they do for physical but quick advise as had witness traumatic experience . If child is female, do get a female doctor. Make sure doctor explains each step and what she is going to do for each step of the examination. for example if examining breasts ... this is very sensitive and for 1st time female child might be tramatic. so doc must advise action first and if ask if agreeable . Mother or Father of child must be present and witness , a nurse or clinic helper must be present. this is essential. Bad experience was that female child was examined by young male doc which obviously had no experience n still went on to examine her breasts ... she felt very "molested" but did not dare protest and took long time coming to terms with it.
also doc was not sensitive. get a good matured, kindly type doctor.

Weight, height, blood pressure, heart rate, search for pallor...

Maybe they will search for signs of sexual development start.
