Well, I have one particular friend, who has been living pretty good in the appartament (( he is 22 with 18 y/o brother )). I have a job at casino, making over $1800 (( it vaires from $1600 to $2000 )). He said I could pay $300 a month and stay with him. Soo...I am pretty sure I wouldn't have to worry much about the money/income. And I am good student w/o any parent or anyones help. Yes, I have talked to them...my stepdad says its a dumb choice to make (( And I do know that )) but..its my life. My mom --- thats different story, she dont wanna listen to it.. I dont care...

What could they do if I move out? Just wondering ... I have drawn few ideas what COULD they do...but ... I think they would be pretty crazy to do that.

Thanks again,
Arciux

Even at 17 they would not be able to interfere, but at 18 nothing at all. Totally your life your choice. One of my daughters left home at 17 and finished High School on her own. Some young people decide they will not finish out that last year at home. Remember a person is only 17 on their birthday, every day after they move closer to 18, pointless for the courts, etc to get involved when the inevitable will happen shortly. In Wisconsin if a 17 your old does not want to live at home the Dept. of Family Svcs. attempts to set them up in an independent living program.

OK there is more to it than that so.........
why does your dad think its a dumb mistake? what does your father think of him for he has that opinion about him.

If you make that kind of money why do you not get your own place?
