No it isn't. Realizing my higher power would be more appropriate.

Spirituality is defined by what you feel is good with you, what you believe and are comfortable with, not what anyone else defines or sees as acceptable. The easiest way to describe it is to have faith. Faith covers a lot of ground in a lot of areas. Use it with all those who have any kind of faith and do it in good health. 'Higher Power' bless you. Good question!!

Hi,
First we have to see if we have higher power or not. Let us analyse the term 'higher power'. It means that you want to be higher than others and to have power. So, your question may seems to me that you want to be above others.
You posses life. Everyone posses it. it is will to live. All you can do is to unite your mind and body with universal life that lives in your body, mind and soul.
Your higher power is like power that makes your computer work. Still, it is hardware and software that counts. it means that even if you posses higher power like all others, we are not equal. it is because that 'higher power' express itself as you develop your mind and skills.
You can do no more that develop your given by nature capabilities. Therefore, even if you have higher power like all of us that do not make you and me equal to others.
You have been tought that higher power makes you equal with others. it do not! it just make you alive.

I've heard that "religion is for people who are afraid of going to hell and spirituality is for people who've already been there."
What does that mean? It means to me that spirituality is a one-to-one relationship with your creator, whatever your understanding (or lack of understanding is better!) is. Religion is a bunch of males in robes.

I think its a person definition, I'm not sure anyone can define it for you. That sounds like a good definition though.
