Why just christians? Why not every religion? We could petition Yahoo to do away with this category based on your belief system, since there is no God, and when you die your dead nothing more. Thats what should happen just send Yahoo an email telling them this category offends you because christians post on here, and you will contact the ACLU if they dont.

Do you believe that George Washington existed? You see him on the US dollar bill, but does that mean he "really" existed? You can read books about George Washington, but how do you know he "really" and "truly" existed? No one alive today has met George Washington and talked to him.
So why is it not "mental" to believe that George Washington existed and yet it is "mental" to believe that God exists? Medication doesn't change what I believe.
What about Islamics? What about Buddhists? What about Hindus? Do you think they ALL need medication as well?
Stop thinking that we Christians are "mental" and start looking into what we believe. You'll find there's a lot more to Christianity than what you see on television.

creative. fundamentalist types from all the "faiths" are quite a blot on the species, eh? as one sage said: there are a number of levels of sophistication in every religion, thus making it available in one form or another to all of its followers. for the "beginners" there is fundamentalism, for the more advanced there is the "esoteric". it should be noted that the students of the esoteric practices are hardly ever "zealots", advocating the harming of non-believers, and seldom, if ever, trying to push their beliefs onto others. interestingly, the ESOTERIC teachings and practices of ALL religions are basically the same.

if the question is about mental health.. then yes.. but if their question is about religion.. then this is the appropriate place...
it does not matter what religion you are as to the placement of your questions... just what type of question you are asking.. as a Christian, I would not ask a math question in this category... but then.. if I were an athiest.. I would not ask a math question in this category either.

The thought occured to me that maybe you should put your question in that category -- but I didn't want to stoop to the level to which you have stooped.
Not to mention, I didn't want to demean and trivialize the real mental-health problems that some people have -- as you have demeaned and trivialized it.

I'm with "mypublicident" on this one.
And somebody give that guy two more points for his hair!
And "suspendor", nice burn! You really got the guy who posted this one! He'll never mess with YOU again!
Christians = not funny. You all would have been better off if Christ had died for your sense of humors!

There is a mythology and folklore category!!! That might be a better place for these fairy tales about god.
