the Pavilion Amusement Park vs Family Kingdom Amusement Park ? (Prices, park selections, rides, cost, etc..)

I've been to myrtle beach dozens of times and love it. I have heard that the Pavillion Amusement Park will be closing down or already has closed down. That news really upset me because I've been enjoying it since I was a kid.

There are other amusements parks though. I recommend Ripleys. It's fun.

This is the last season that the Pavilion Park will be open, so that might be motivation to go there...because you will never get another chance.

However, I think Family Kingdom is the best choice. It's cheaper (free park entry and 19.50 for an all-ride wristband vs. 24.95 at the pavilion). Plus, Family Kingdom has a waterpark and is right at the beach. The Pavilion does have more rides (over 40 while FK has around 30) and it has biggest roller coaster in South Carolina.
