You know atheists have a good point to mock, I am a Christian, but I am 15 years old so I haven't exactly been able to believe some of the stories. WE as humans, don't know what really happened, yeah we have the bible but we don't know if thats true. If it wasn't then it would be the biggest and best put on lie in the Universe. But I have to say I have many doubts. I don't think taking the 10 commandments out is a good idea and I have no problem with reading the Pleadge in school. Its that everyone wants to make up stories, so you have like 50 choices. WHO KNOWS...Only God knows what is really true. Evolution??? I think it could be possible. maybe it was when we had dinosuars. What was the purpose for dinosuars anyway. We know we had them. Plus scientist have shapes of skulls that don't match what we have today. I had to laugh when you asked if the Earth was round. I think we have plenty of evidence to prove that, but if you mean why can't it be called square, well I just don't know. That would be a good question. But anyway I don't think it is healthy to just fix your mind on only one belief, you(not meaning you, but people) get hostile and just sit and argue all the time. I have to say this is one of the longest answers that I have ever typed so I hope that it helped you in some way.........Chelsea

First off I agree with the statement that there is no objective evidence that evolution occurs. Evolution is a historical science and there have been no experiments performed that prove evolution. There is natural selection, but that is within a species, I have never heard of a cat turning into a dog or some such.
Secondly, the Bible actually states the earth is round in the book of Job. And from a scientific point of view that is observational science not historical.
And because I know how much you love this site, here is the best creationist site out there.

There is far more evidence for the fact of the shape of the earth (you know: like pictures from every angle we can imagine from up in space) than there is for evolution.
Evolution has evidence: it simply doesn't have enough evidence to convince everyone that it is the way things happened.
And before there's a pile-on here, I'd be willing to grant something: the atheist can (and does) say the same thing about Christian faith. The question is whether or not both claims are of the same substance, and my position is that they are not -- and the atheist claim is the one which falls short.

There is evidence that the Earth is round. Pictures taken form space. Unless of course you believe they're fake. Anyway you're generalizing not all atheists mock Christians. Just like saying all Christians are self-rightous idiots would be wrong. And sorry but to me Christianity is one of the most illogical things. But then again so are most religions.

Christianity is the opposite of logical. Of course, you can prove anything by logic, too. I am not an atheist because I do believe in God, but I don't agree that any religion is the absolute truth. In fact, most religions are built on lies. Evolution is a self evident fact. We have seen evolution in many organisms, including ourselves. We are taller, heavier and supposedly more intelligent than human beings thousands of years ago. We have seen viruses mutate so that our drugs don't work on them anymore. Insects evolve so that our pesticides dont' work on them anymore. God created us, but now allows us to evolve so that we can grow and become more like Him.

Has man really evolved? Not from my stand point. We are more selfish, more self centered, we claim to be smarter but the only thing we seem to be smarter are is finding way to hate and kill each other. We Care less and less about others and look at some else to do that job for us. We don't even care about our own kids. Evolved to what? What have we evolved to?
If that is logical I just think I will go back and stick my head in the sand, thank you.

What is logical about Christianity. So many religious in this world. It seems you have not traveled much in this world.
Evolution is as much a fact as that the world is round. You better watch out if you walk, since you may easily from from the earth!

first off it wasn't only Christians that thought earth was flat. and after Columbus everyone took that back. and sure there could be evidence of evolution but there is no proof. Just like there is evidence of God but no proof. you base as much on faith as we Christians do. so to all Christians that agree with me that Atheism is a religion too say something.

You're asking a rhetorical question...are you asking us whether...or not...we agree with your 'statement'...that Christianity is 'so logical'? No, I would not agree with your basic premise, since it is not based in logic, but in faith. Faith is not logical, however, the material presented in the Bible which Christianity is founded on is also not 'logical'...at least in the sense that it is provable. Evolution is a fact...we are in the process of evolving as we speak...whether or not our ORIGIN is evolutionary is what remains in question. It may well NEVER be provable in the scientific/logical sense that you allude to here in your 'question.'
And, PLEASE, do not EVEN get me started on whether or not the Earth is round...your statement here is totally absurd, since we know...for a FACT...that it is! NOTE: I've included a group (below) that you may want to join...!
