Ingredients
1 cup mashed riped bananas
2 beaten small eggs, or one large egg
1 cups sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cups grated zucchini (optional)
1 3/4 cups self-rising flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease loaf pan and set aside. In a bowl, combine egg(s), oil, vanilla, and sugar and blend well using wire whisk. Add in zucchini until its blended well into the mixture. SLOWLY add flour, stirring into the liquids until all mixed well. Add cinnamon, pecans and mashed bananas. Gently fold into the batter and, when thoroughly mixed, spoon into the loaf pan and bake for approximately 30-45 minutes or until cooked. Cool in pans for 5 minutes then remove. You can serve it warm.... and a la mode with vanilla caramel ice-cream

INGREDIENTS:

* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 cup butter
* 3/4 cup brown sugar
* 2 eggs, beaten
* 2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x4 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in the egg and mashed bananas. Mix in flour and baking soda just until combined. Pour into prepared loaf pan.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. If top begins to brown too quickly, decrease heat slightly. Center should be soft and chewy, while the outside, crisp and crunchy.

There is a great recipe for banana bread on the side of the jiffy mix box, simple and quick.

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten slighly
1 cup mashed banana (2 med)
2 Tablespoon milk
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 tespoon baking soda
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional

mix the top 5 ingredients together. then add the dry together. Slowly add dry to wet.. until well mixed
Line pans with parchment paper or grease and flour
oven is set to 325 to 350 F degrees Approx 50 mins
use toothpick to test. The riper the banana the more flavor it will have. also can cook in muffin tins and pie pan.

Great slice thin to med warmed with strawberry (done like strawberry shortcake) and whipped cream

It depends on weather u r making homeade bread or not.
put banana flavoring or real bananas with walnuts in the bread while cooking thats the way me and my grandma make it.

buy some wonder bread and get some bananas, and mash them into the bread....and viola! banana bread.
