apart from physically opening it yourself there is only one other reason for the drawer opening ,on the drive icon in my computer when you right click there is a eject option, try using that and then closing it manually
if that fails do this .go to start>control panel>system properties>hardware>device manager>under cd\dvd rom drivres, expand the + sign next to it and where your drives name is,right click and click uninstall, you will then be warned that you are uninstalling the named hardware ,just click yes,and then restart your computer
when it boots up it will realise that a drive has not been installed and will install it automatically, and hopefully sorting out the problem you had before
this is also what i do with a peice of software that is causing problems ,you uninstall it and then re-install it,so hopefully you willl remove the problem while uninstalling
good luck

I take it you meant your CD drive as C drive is your internal drive and wont open unless you hammer it. Your CD rom door button (the little thingy normally on the right side of it must have to jammed. Try looking at it to see if its straight. If one side is lower than the other or its too in then just try to pry it with a little niddle or a sharp object like the head of a thin knife etc. and just feel around it with knife and it come back out and it wont open like this again even if you put your drink on it as some suggested earlier. goody lucky matey

C: drive should be your hard drive, which is internal and doesn't have a door. I presume you mean your D: drive. In which case it could eb something as simple as the button having got jammed in.

cos you are either knocking it with your knee OR leaning on the eject button on your super dooper keyboard?

maybe you need some more space around your workstation.
