My house mate is about to move out, I will need someone to pay her half of the rent, so want to ask my boyfriend. I think he will say yes, although it is a big step for us both! He stays over every night and we are always together, I just dont know how to bring it up, I dont want it to look like I have been thinking about it!

Sorry that sounded wrong, I dont want him to move in because of the money, I want him to move in because I love his company. If he didn't move in I would need to find someone else to pay for my room mates side of the rent!

Just straight up ask him. Tell him "hey, my flatmate is movin out which creates more room for you....you wanna move in with me? Your here all the time anyways...less gas wasted driving here all the time!" I'm sure you'll like the answer.

you just say your house mate is moving out. he may then ask why and if you have found a new house mate.
he may then bring up the idea of you both moving in together.
if he doesn't then either he is still not sure where he stands in the relationship or is a little shy at that kind of thing.
so bring up the subject of paying the rent now you have no one to split the bills with and act like wow i just had a crazy thought, why don't you move in with me and we split the bills etc.
use your own words naturally.
just talk to him, that's all you can do. as a rule guys are awful at picking up signals especially big ones like this from any girl.
speaking as a 32 year old single guy, this would be an approach that would make sense to me. it's up to you what you decide to do.

Make a extensive-unfold pass to do what? Do you mean pass out? Are you living jointly? if so, that's rarely skill for such drastic measures. at first, you are able to speak with human beings of the choice intercourse. He can even have friends of the choice intercourse. yet you the two could desire to have open and honest communique approximately this or jelousy will devour you alive. that is not appealing, and actual gets no person nowhere. it is likewise an fairly controlling habit, and relatationships could be approximately partnerships, no longer capability. attempt to take a step lower back and be logical. Leaving on a similar time as he's away could be immature. Be an person and communicate issues with him like an person.

But you should want to look like your thinking about it. DON'T have him move in just for the rent...living with a bf is totally different from living with a friend. Make sure your ready. If you are just say "so i have an idea...i've been thinking, since (insert roommates name) is leaving, you might want to think about moving in with me." tell him why you want him there and that it would make you happy
good luck!

Okay the key is to ask when he is distracted! Wait until you are doing something together like watching T.V. or something like that then just say, "Hey you know my roommate is moving out right so what do you think about moving in here with me when she leaves?" If he looks at you like your crazy play it off like it was a joke, if not then there you go!

Tell him the truth. " I want you to move in because I need the rent paid" That should let him really know the type of person you are.

Why wouldnt you want him to know you were thinking about it? just bring it up while you're together watching tv or soemthing and see how he reacts. If hes petrified, look for another roomate, if he seems casual or excited, go for it
