like if you prayed to God for a child and someone comes up to you and wants you raise her child, would that be God's will? i know he works in mysterious ways.

Only you know if it is God's will for you. Being single or in a couple relationship has nothing to do with how good a parent is. Love and commitment to the child is what is important.

Use your head and your heart. And don't listen to the warped evangepoliticos in our current culture that will discourage you from this!

God bless.

adoption is morally wrong if it is coersed by agencies promising an open adoption. It should not be paid for by either party.

and if you want to be a parent , what do you care about an imaginary man floating in the clouds thinks?? would you ACTUALLY let that stop you from becoming a parent to a child that needs a home??

and adopt an older child- they are far less likely to get adopted and the older they get the more likely they are to live a life of crime and poverty.

yes god does work in mysterious ways but that would mean that god is trying to tell you something wonderful about that. listen to him and to your heart because that child needs you as much as you need that child. god has a will for everyone so make sure you listen.

A child is born sinless. God loves the child but because the parent can't RAISE the child although they LOVE the child, they seek help to people they trust. For instance, you. ;)

Isaiah 54

1 "Sing, O barren woman,
you who never bore a child;
burst into song, shout for joy,
you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband,"
says the LORD.

I think that as humans, you need to use your own judgement because you cannot fathom what god thinks about rain let alone adoption or anything else. Trust your instinct because thats why god gave it to you.

If you're given a child no matter if you gave birth to them or not is God's will

Who gives a shxt what your god thinks (not that it exists in the first place, but that's for another argument). Do what's best for the kid - they come first in this world.

God does not have a view on this or any other subject. He is passive and watches us for reasons we know not.
