If you had a seven year old and a five year old, what would you let and not let them say, do or watch on tv, video games, at home?

Well, I have a 3,6, and 7 year old. They do not watch tv or movies that have explicit sex scenes, or anything else that is inappropriate for their age. I don't "let" them say bad words...cuss words.... They can play video games, but not violent ones. While I don't shield them from the harshness of life, neither do I throw it in their faces.

I just censor out sexual content and things that are too scary. Language wise, any thing that is appropriate in a school setting is what we follow at home for the most part.

I have a six year old and I am a VERY liberal parent but lately I have been watching Nickalodean with her and some of those shows are just bad. So no more NIck at our house!!
