Homeopathic Treatment :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

Talk to your parents and see if they can't get you to a doctor to get on a diet. At the very least, talk to your parents or the school nurse and see what they recommend. As long as it is JUST AN EATING THING AND NOT A MEDICAL CONDITION, you can try this; Lower your starch intake by about half, eat more roughage like salads and veggies, drink lots of water, and go out for walks and runs more, at least twice a day. Make sure you monitor your weight week to week so you can adjust your diet and exercise. Also, it you start to feel dizzy or anything like that, tell your parents right away. You may have a thyroid issue that is causing your weight problem so you should go to the doctor first to make sure it isn't. Good luck and keep in touch if you need further advice. Talk to your parents first whatever you do!!

OK dude, welcome to the Spare-Tire-That-Has-Got-2-Go Club. We're gonna hook you up with a diet and exercise plan you can live with. Here we go:
EXERCISE: Do something every day, even if it's only a 15-minute walk. Start small. Jogging, biking, rowing, or any other kind of aerobic exercise is good, but no more than one hour at a time. Strength training will REALLY help you bust out the flab, so if you have access to weights or a gym start lifting 3 times a week for no more than an hour at a time. You want to do the standard compound exercises like bench press, military press, leg press, leg curls, leg extensions, squats, lat pulldowns, tricep extensions, bicep curls, etc. Start off doing 3 sets of each exercise with 10-12 reps per set, and rest for 60 seconds between each set. Select a weight where you're really struggling to finish that third set.
DIET: You should only eat when you're hungry (READ: Your stomach is grumbling) and you shouldn't stuff. Try cutting your portion sizes down by 1/3. You may have to eat more often during the day, but as long as you're only eating when your stomach is signaling that you need food, you're OK. No between meal snacks (remember, you're not supposed to eat when you're not hungry), don't drink anything except water, diet soda, or unsweetened coffee/tea between meals, and no candy or gum between meals unless it's sugarless. When you eat, you can eat whatever you want, but try to eat more of the good-for-you stuff like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, and lowfat dairy products while trying to consume less soft drinks, cookies, cakes, candy, chips, nachos, and other assorted junk food/fast food. Chocolate is good for you, as are any kind of nuts, so eat up (just don't overdo and don't stuff). The more good-for-you stuff you eat, the quicker you'll lose weight, but give yourself one day a week to eat whatever you want and treat yourself with a little something every day, especially as a reward for exercise (again, just don't overdo).
Cheers, and good luck!

seems like everyone's being a little harsh on you about this whole thing... none of us really have enough information to judge you just based on your height and weight...
first of all, you're not severly overweight... sure, you could probably lose a few pounds... but you're still a child... and since you're male, you probably haven't gone through a major growth spurt yet.
to help you out, i'd first have to know what you eat on a daily basis, and what kind of activity you do. If you're eating a lot of unhealthy foods and sitting around a lot, then all you'd need to do to lose weight is make better food choices and get more active...
but maybe you don't eat that poorly and you play sports... i don't know? Some of your weight issues could be genetic... it's hard to say...
but, to try and help a little... You could start with trying to get in at least 30 minutes of activity a day... more walking, jogging, just exercise in general... anything you'd like to do will help... swim, shoot hoops, play soccer, baseball... it doesn't have to feel like WORK to give you a workout! And then, you could do a few other exercises to help build muscle and increase your metabolism... like squats, push ups, crunches, lunges.... you don't have to go to a gym, you can just do them wherever...
And then, just try to watch what you eat... eat more fruits and veggies, drink a lot of water... if you like soda, try drinking diet... you don't have to completely cut out the foods you like, just cut back on the stuff you know is bad for you...
i'm sure you can do it!!! and i know you'll feel better once you do!

Well since you're a guy (based on your avatar) you're probably going to get more height. When that happens your body will probably fill out a bit but until then eat right. Cut back on a lot of junk food. And another thing I did when I was doing sports like swimming I would eat a lot of healthy stuff and then at night I would eat whatever my body felt like eating to make sure all the chemical balances were right. It helped me out a lot and I'd probably have 20 more pounds on me if it weren't for that.

Determination, hard work and discipline. Dieting is not the right path, though a healthy diet is. Other than that, working out is the only option. Infomercials and commercials show quick-fixes, but not one of the weightloss shows (i.e. the biggest loser or celebrity fit club) uses any of these. The only solution is hard work, dertermination and discipline. I know it can be very hard, so find someone to support you through it and help keep you motivated (I can help if you'd like). Good luck.

I hope I can help you out. Pull your self away from the computer, eat smaller portions when you eat, stop eating any candy and lay off the sodas. Try diet pepsi and treat yourself to a piece of chocolate once a week. Go for walks, bike rides or to a health club and work out. Honey, the answer is simple, JUST DO IT. Good Luck.

Don't feel too bad about that. You're my EXACT HEIGHT, as I am also 5'4", but I weigh 180 pounds. And being female, it is much worse to weigh that -- especially with no muscle tone. I only wish I weighed 162 pounds and had some muscle!

1.Exercise
Start slowly don't go beyond your ability to talk while exercising.
I suggest dancing, walking, swimming, and bicycling.
2. Drink water instead of soda, drinks and juice.
3. Have grilled and broiled meat, chicken, fish with no breading.
4. Have half as much bread, cereal, rice, and potatoes as you used to and twice as much vegetables.
5. Choose low fat and light dressings and sauces and cheeses.
6. Don't go on a crash diet, you will only end up gaining more weight than you started out at.
