Anybody that accepts Jesus Christ and repents of his sins is eligible to enter heaven. So, yes, Hitler and Mussolini could have if they had chosen to. Although the Hitlers, Mussolinis and Stalins were monsters in our world, to God, we are all sinners and do not deserve to enter heaven. But thanks to the sacrafice of Jesus Christ, we can.

Catholic Answer:
Hitler: YES, if he has repented
Mussolini: YES - ibid
Red Indians: No you do not have to be christian to go to heaven
Aborigines: NO -Ibid
tribal communities of Africa: NO- Ibid
Victims Of the A bombs of Japan - NO -Ibid
How can you also Expect 70 percent of the non believers to believe in Christ whenever I ask that in this forum the only answer you have his you must have faith or else go to hell ,as if Our Believes have no Value.Do you believe any educated man would believe in Christianity,
Buddhism inforces more peace: As long as you believe that you are good and you act upon that believe (I really mean you BELIEVE) then you will go to heaven.
There are 2 main points to your questions:
1.- Non believers go to hell: That is not correct. After the Vatican Council II The church acknowledge that mistake and agrees that if you are good you will ho to heaven. It does not matter your religion.
2.- Repent: If you truly repent, from your sins you will be forgiven.

Christianity= modern paganism
If you think about it they didn't have to repent all they had to do was believe in the existence of a man who couldn't have possibly existed, at least not with the name jesus because the letter J didn't even exist in 0 a.d further more a little research would tell you that cristians/catholics have always been the ones killing people (sword in one hand cross in the other) i.e the crusades so why would anyone expect anything more of these hypocrites, there all going to heaven in there mind.Until these people stop being led by the blind and actually research what the scriptures actually say not what catholic scribes hired by a catholic king wrote in the king james perversion people look up what a version is in your dictionary. The scriptures give all the laws one needs to have peace and great health for everybody.

I think the sins committed here on Earth are not as big a deal as we make them out to be when looked at from a cosmic perspective, the way God looks at things. I am not saying that Hitler and Mussolini and the like were not terrible people, they were and the idea of such atrocities makes me ill, but in a cosmic sense, they didn't really change much. So, if Hitler, Mussolini and so on,were really sorry for what they did, than, yeah, they could go to heaven.
As for the Indians, Japanese, and people who die without knowing about the Christian faith, I am a Christian, but I don't believe that you need to have accepted Christ to go to Heaven. I think the love of the "Christ" (or what ever you want to call it) in other people is all you need to be blessed.
As to your final question, I think that lots of intelligent men can believe in Christianity. Are you saying that Nelson Mandela, Mother Theresa, and thousand of other scientists, doctors, and other Christians around the world, are not educated? I respect Buddism (some Buddists are Christians, just as a heads up) but that doesn't mean that Christians are stupid. You don't like that some Christians don't value your beliefs, well, I don't like that you don't value my beliefs and think that I must be stupid because I am Christian.
Which kind of addresses your one complaint that ALL Christians tell you that you are going to hell. I can't believe that ALL Christians on this site have condemned you. I mean, maybe the reason you think that all Chrisitians are condemning you is because you don't recognize people as Christians unless they specifically tell you that you are going te hell.
There are a lot of Christian faiths out there (something many people on this web site need to realize) and just because a lot of conservative Christains are shouting "heretic" or "heathen" at you, doesn't mean that EVERY Christian on here agrees with them.

Oh come on now, what is the likelihood that someone as evil as Hitler would actually repent of his sins and mean it? Wouldn't Mussolini be too much of a hard case to really feel any regret, and wouldn't God know it?
As for the Indians, and the people who died in the atomic blasts, how do we really know what they heard or believed? Actually, the largest Christian community in Japan was almost wiped out by the second atomic bomb (Ironic, right?).
If God knew that someone was of the mindset to truly feel remorse for his sin, don't you think that God would know this, and make sure that this person was born in a time and place so that he would actually hear the Gospel before he died? Can’t God do anything that he wanted (including appearing to someone in a dream if he had too, like Paul?).
I don’t think that you are actually reading these answers; I think that you are asking questions just to be a smart-mouth. Hah! Cost you five yahoo points for nothing! ;-)

Hitler likely did not make it to Heaven since he took his own life. Mussolini may have if he truly repented for his sins. The Indians will be judged on their hearts not on whether they had ever heard of Christ. If they had lived the life they believed was correct, there is a chance they were spared. This same theory goes for the others who never received the word of God. I don't know enough about Buddhism, but God does and again will judge their heart. We will never know who made it and who didn't until we arrive ourselves. Prepare for some surprises though!

You are right Christians have waged war in the name of God, but usually there were political reasons rather than religious ones. No one can say that all proclaimed Christians are good people, there are bad people in every religion. The Buddhist Japanese in WW2 didn't exactly refrain from killing. Only God can judge who will attain heaven, no human being has the intelligence or power to predict that. I'm sorry you have gotten such a bad impression of Christians because not all are the loud mouth bullies who judge everyone and everything like you see so many of on here.

Everyone will have a chance to know of Christ before the day of Judgment, and all will have a chance to accept or deny Him. Who can say if Hitler or Mussolini would repent, but if they did and did it sincerely, I'm guessing He'd forgive them. Christ will judge, none of us, even though many christians seem to think they've been given the job of judge, they're wrong.
As for those who've never heard of Him, like I said, they'll have that chance before judgement, just as you have heard and have made your choice. Nobody can force you to believe.

That's the trick though, we can not know whom God has forgiven, it is one of the biggest problems of fundamentalist anything, if a religious group believes that it has the answers to who God favors and who is condemned, they use that 'knowledge' for less than noble purposes. Jesus, as he was dieing, forgave the hardened criminal dieing beside him. So yes, I think that even the most evil person, if they honestly repented (only God knows if it is sincere) can go to heaven. To us (and our infinitely limited sense of justice) this seems horribly unfair, but God is not always fair, but he is just. If he was fair, than we would all go to hell, because none of us has ever really measured up to his holiness. (when was the last time you looked lustfully at someone else, for me about 5 min ago) I think that all Christians should be somewhat ashamed of their cultural past. Any Christian group that uses the name or idea of Crusaders should be ashamed, because that is not what Jesus taught.

First, We are only held accountable for what we know.
Second, Romans 10:10-13 says:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
So as far as Hitler and the others, God knew there heart, if they sincerely repented, they were forgiven

Salvation is dependent upon a person confessing Jesus Christ as their savior. To do this....a person has to realize that they have sin, that nothing they can do will remove that sin...and they have to repent of that sin and accept the blood of Jesus Christ, shed at Calvary...to make them righteous.
Yes. If Hitler, at the last moment of his life, truly repented of every evil thing he had ever done; if his heart was broken in sorrow over the sins he had committed, if he said to Jesus "please forgive me for all I have done, I believe that you alone can save me from these sins I have committed", he would be saved...he would go to heaven.
If a person who, in their own opinion, was "good" all their life, died without confessing Jesus as his savior...they would go to hell. Why? Because there is no one without sin. Absolutely no one. And there is only one way to wash away sin that we all have: by the imputed righteousness of Jesus.
I realize that this infuriates people...and it's not my intent to upset anyone. But I must speak what God's word says, since it is the absolute truth: there is no salvation other than by Jesus Christ.
