Calm down, and get excited!!! You're gonna have a baby soon ... how cool is that!
The best thing you can do is walk, walk, walk ... try not to get too far away from home, unless you have a buddy with you. The exercise will make you feel better too, while it's helping the labor along. If you just lay around thinking about the pain, you'll go nuts. Get out and get some fresh air.
After that, take a long, warm bath. The warm water will help relax your muscles and induce the labor.
Good luck ... you'll do fine! It's almost over, then you'll have a beautiful baby to spoil :)

I had just about the same problem.
My Dr told me to relax and not to worry. The baby will be here soon. I was told that the more stress you put on yourself the longer your labor is. If you are leaking then you cannot do the sex thing either. And don't worry about having a "dry birth" their is really no such thing. Your body produces fluild the whole time that you are in labor. Massaging your feet will help too. Have your husband rub hard in the arch of your foot. The nerves their have something to do with going into labor. That is why you can't have pedicures in your later months.
Good luck to you and best wishes to you and your little one.

Leaking fluid you should be at the hospital. They will need to induce labor. You are risking a dry birth and that is not a good thing. At the hospital, you could walk around a bit. Walking seems to help, but you really should be at the hospital if you are leaking fluid. If you are leaking DO NOT have sex. It can cause an infection.

Hi! First of all, Breathe...the stress isn;t helping you at all. You definitely need to call the doctor if you are leaking fluid. Or have someone with you explain the situation to them. Try some Red Raspberry tea..it will help you to relax, and helps your uterine muscles which are really tired right now. It's going to be ok, just get yourself calmed down and call the doctor. And that raspberry tea will give you a little help as well. Good luck!

I don't have personal experience but I'm told that you can try & walk it off or have sex. I had 2 friends that did one or the other. One was preg on her 21st bday & tried walking (so she could have her son & then drink haha) & ended up having him 2 days later. The other had sex when she was told by her doctor NOT to & that put her into contractions about a day later.

sex. though it is probably a but uncomfortable right now. it might relax you. there is something in a man's sperm that breaks down the solidity of the mucus plug.
walking. Don't go to fast, but the movement will do it also.
