No. Our spirits are eternal, but not these bodies we have.

Yes, I beleive so. What do christians think this means.
"Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever. The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises. The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course. All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again ... What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." (Eccl. 1:4-9)

We're only eternal in that someone keeps our memory alive. As soon as people stop remembering us, then we truly cease to exist. For example, do you remember your great, great grandfather who lived over 100 years ago. Most likely not. So in that sense, he is not eternal. But, I bet you remember Ronald Regan or Martin Luther King, Jr. Both are dead now, but are memorialized in our thoughts.

Think about it like this if we are eternal, where are the billions of people who died before us?
I personally belief in life after death, but it's scientifically impossible to prove of its existence because no one has lived after he/she has died.
So all we are left with is faith.
