we've flirted in the past and developed a really good relationship. we're trying to get together sometime in the next week, but we're both kind of busy lately. i was thinking of going into her work to hang out with her if we can't make it work otherwise, because i don't want to moment to pass, and making a play then. how would you set it up? and assuming it doesn't work out like i think it will, what should my reaction be to the awkward moment that will follow?

I think that her work is not the best place to kiss her first. I would be a little embarrassed to have my personal dating life flung out there in front of all my coworkers, many of whom I don't know very well. Wait until you can see her outside of her job. When the moment is right you'll feel it, that rising feeling in your chest, seize it then and act. But not at her work. I'm sure you'll still like her a week from now, yes?

Have you all ever discussed a relationship together or the possibilities. You may want to have that discussion to see if you are one the same page.

Then you need an intimate setting. Either invite her to your place for dinner and a movie, take her out to dinner. Whatever you do, you need to be sitting close to her, try hugging her first. If she moves your arm, you probably should not proceed. If she is comfortable, then make your move.
