Opinion: I think satan is really in control of hell because if he's not then there would be no sin. Sin is a sign that really Satan exist. And if God gets rid of satan then the world will be in peace and in harmony. And I hope it will someday happen. God is very forgiving, tormented souls will be given another chance of renewal.

Well, God is in control. And when God gets rid of Satan, it will be to lock him in the Lake of Fire for all eternity (with the tormented souls).

The wicked will not be punished until after the judgment.
"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished." 2 Peter 2:9.
There is not one single soul in hellfire today. The Bible says that God reserves, or holds back, the wicked until the day of judgment to be punished.
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8.
The wicked are not immortal. The Bible says they will "perish", "burn up" and "be destroyed".
The wicked die the second death in hellfire. If the wicked lived forever being tortured in hell, they would be immortal. But this is impossible, because the Bible says God "only hath immortality." 1 Timothy 6:16. When Adam and Eve were driven from the Garden of Eden, an angel was posted to guard the tree of life so that sinners would not eat of the tree and "live for ever." Genesis 3:22-24. The teaching that sinners are immortal in hell originated with Satan and is completely untrue. God prevented this when sin entered this earth by guarding the tree of life.
Is the Devil in charge of Hell?
The devil will be completely destroyed by fire.
"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:10. "I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. ... And never shall thou be any more." Ezekiel 28:18, 19.
Absolutely not! The devil will be cast into the fire, and it will turn him into ashes.

I think Satan is suffering like every one else in Hell! I know he exists but as far as him having control of Hell i think that was made up to put fear in us. I do believe that Satan can hear our thoughts before we say them and even think them. If God were to get rid of Satan then God him self would have no power and he would not deliver us from evil. Just my thoughts I like the way you think Kid!

Who says Satan is "in control of Hell"?
The Bible says that Satan has power /over this world/ until the end of time, but God is redeeming men from the power of sin and Satan -- a power which they have sold themselves into.
In the final account, Sin, Death and Satan will be cast into a fire which never goes out -- along with all who are not redeemed, not in Christ and saved by his sacrifice.

Satan is not in control, this is a modern misinterpretation. Even Dante's Devine Comedy has Satan suffering in hell. However, a movie is a lot scarrier if Satan is in control of hell and is all powerful to terrorize you. The Bible hardly discusses hell, actually.

Satan only gets what control God lets him have (see Job 1). So in effect, God is still in control. Satan is doomed there himself though in the end. Hell is a neccessity, not a cruelty.

Man, I read your profile and it's really long and totally wacky...satan is condemned to hell, not in charge of; God would never get rid of satan, because that would upset the balance of good and evil...kind of like taking away your freedom of choice; That loss, in itself and the repercussions from that would be a Sin in itself....or so thinks I!

God did get rid of Satan He threw him in hell. That is his place and he is not going anywhere, he has to suffer like a non-believer does.
