Iranians have a strong history. They are Persians. They are not Arabic or so. They are our country neighboor. I do not think anything bad about them. I like the shining red dresses (velvet) their women wear :)

Iranians are just normal people like all other nations. Most of them are good nice people.
Iran is one of the oldest civilizations in the area. They were the only force that could compete with the Roman Empire.
as why they seem to be all over the world, it is because the world has become as a BIG village, see any country in the world and you will find tens of nationalities living in that country.

They as a people I do not honestly know. I am sure they are fine and decent. The Civilization they live in on the other hand in my honest opinion will bring about the end for many if not all. Between them and N. Korea it is only a matter of time before (at a minimum) millions perish.

Well, their civilization is ancient and elaborate, but the Iranian People, as you say, are not really part of that. The bulk of Iranians live in little principalities subject to little law or guidance other than that of the local prince. (Now, they don't call him a "prince" - that's an English word.)
Away from the cities themselves, the main support of life in Iran is the trade of illegal drugs to the US. Pretty brutal life.

I think building nukes isn't a great idea. I've had a few classes with an Iranian person though, and he seems like a good person.

From what I hear, the Iranian people are a somewhat progressive people, that are essentially being help hostage by the hardline mullah's and clerics that rule the place. Its a real shame that the Persians are treated the way that they are.

People in that section of the world are too religious. If we let them gain nuclear arms we are all in jeopardy. Somehow religion makes it ok to kill other people.. It should be blatantly ironic but unfortunately they believe in that way. If left alone, they may be the end of us all.
