BAKED HAM

1 spiral cut ham
1 can gingerale (Vernors is the best)
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 T mustard

Mix the gingerale, brown sugar and mustard in a saucepan and heat until the sugar dissolves.

Put the ham in a large baking pan, cookie sheet or roasting pan. Pour 1/2 cup of water in the bottom of the pan. Pour the glaze over the top. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1-2 hours, basting occasionally. It's delicious hot or cold.


CLASSIC MEATLOAF

1 cup of finely chopped onion
1 celery rib, chopped fine
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 carrot, chopped fine
1/2 cup of finely chopped scallion (can substitute onion)
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 tsp salt (use 1 1/2 teas if using Italian sausage)
1 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
2 tsp Worscestershire sauce
2/3 cup ketchup
1 1/2 pounds of ground chuck
3/4 pound of spicy ground pork sausage (or use Italian sausage - 1 sweet, 1 hot)
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
2 large eggs, beaten slightly
1/3 cup minced fresh parsley leaves

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large heavy skillet cook the onion, garlic, celery, carrot, and scallion in butter, over moderate heat, stirring, for about 5 minutes. Cover and stir occassionally until the carrots are tender, about 5 more minutes. Stir in salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/3 a cup of ketchup. Cook for 1 more minute.

In a large bowl, combine the meats, eggs, bread crumbs, vegetables, and parsley. Form into a loaf and put into a retangular baking pan with 2 inch high sides. Cover loaf with remaining ketchup.

Bake meat loaf in oven for 1 hour. Let sit 5 mins before slicing.

Here is a simple recipe for you take a pineapple cut off the top scoop out the meat of the pineapple you know the center part of the fruit. Place the meat of the pineapple in a bowl for later use. Get some boneless pork or chicken it is up to you. Place the meat you choose in a large skillet and cook in a nice white wine you like. once the meat is fully cooked add the pineapple meat and cook until warm. then take the pineapple that you cut the top off and pour the meat that is in the skillet back into the pineapple. Make sure you have cut the bottom of the pineapple off to where it will sit level on a plate. place the top back on the pineapple and serve. It is a simple recipe yet taste great and looks fancy. Stir Fry:
Ingredients:
1 pound meat (chicken cubes, beef tips or shrimp- or a combo of all!)
1-2 bell peppers- diced
1 lg onion- diced
2 carrots, sliced in rings
your favorite stir fry sauce (i like House of Tsang!)
oil for cooking
rice

In a large pan or wok, add enough oil for cooking, and start to sautee up onion, peppers and carrots for a few minutes. When onions get a little wilty, add in the raw meat and cook until meat is done. (Chicken should be white inside, beef... you can pretty much cook to your liking, and shrimp will turn pink when done) Add in about 1/2 cup of stir fry sauce and a small amount of water (I use about 1/4 cup or less) stir and let cook for about 5 minutes or until veggies are tender.

Meatloaf:
1.5 pounds lean ground beef
one packet onion soup mix
one egg
worchestersire sauce- about 3 tablespoon
soy sauce or dales sauce- one teaspoon
garlic powder- one tablespoon
ketchup- 1/3 cup
breadcrumbs- amount will vary

Mix all ingredients EXCEPT BREADCRUMBS together in a large bowl with your hands. Add about 1/3 cup bread crumbs and mix in. Keep adding more and more (if needed) until the mixture is able to hold it's shape.

Put mixture in an oven proof baking dish and form into a loaf. Poke 3-4 holes on top and squirt more ketchup on top (just enough to make it look pretty). Bake at 350 for about 30-45 minutes or until inside is no longer pink!

BEGINNER'S BISCUITS

2 c. self-rising flour
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
1/2 c. milk or buttermilk

Sift flour into mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise and 1/4 cup of milk. Stir with large spoon. Add more milk to get dough to thick consistency. Place heaping tablespoons of dough evenly spaced on a greased cookie sheet and cook at 400 degrees until biscuits are a light golden brown.

BEGINNERS OMELETTE

6 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. butter
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 tbsp. milk

Melt butter in skillet. Mix well beaten eggs, salt, pepper, and milk. Pour this mixture into skillet and allow bottom to become light brown. At this point, tip skillet and with a spatula fold over in half and continue cooking for a few moments. As you progress you will want to add many ingredients in the middle of the fold such as jam, onions, green peppers, etc.

• 2 ounce bottle of Tabasco
• 1 8 oz block cream cheese, room temp 1 cup Hidden Valley Ranch dressing 3/4 cups celery chopped into small pieces
• 5 tbsp softened butter
• 1/2 lb crumbled blue cheese
• Olive oil
Method:
Mix together cream cheese, Hidden Valley dressing, celery, 5 T butter and blue cheese. Form into 2 3" oval patties. Melt 2 T butter. Add Tabasco and garlic. Flatten chicken until 1/4" thick Arrange cheese mixture on chicken scallop and roll up scallops, tucking in sides to enclose filling Secure the end with wooden pick. Dust chicken rolls in flour. Dip in the butter/Tabasco/garlic mixture. Roll in bread crumbs. Brown chicken rolls on all sides in olive oil. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.

take a chicken breast (boneless)
then marinate in a sauce of you choice, Dales is good
add some spices
then wrap it in tin foil cook it in the oven for about 20 minutes i think around 375

take a flour tortilla large
add tomato sauce on top
add mozzarella cheese
one or two toppings
bake in oven for until it is done takes about 10 minutes or less

get croissant rolls
then make some chicken salad
you can do this by getting canned chicken, add mayo, mustard, and some salt and pepper, and a pinch of garlic.
roll out croissant rolls and add chicken salad in the middle, roll up the roll, then cook in oven at 375 for 10-12 minutes.

premade pizza crust
jar of pesto
Tyson cooked chicken strips
mozzarella cheese

top the crust with pesto...scatter chicken over pesto and sprinkle with cheese...bake at 400 until cheese is melted and chicken is heated through.

Made this several times and it's always a big hit. ENJOY

Go to foodnetwork.com They have a lot of easy recipes. The best easy recipes are one you don't have to use the stove or oven. Here's a good sandwich to make. Get a loaf of focaccio bread (round). Cut in half length wise. Drizzle a quarter cup of olive oil on each half. add thinly sliced onions, gardinierre,sliced salami, thin sliced ham, cucumber slices, finely chopped olives (personally I don't like olives), mozzarella or provolone cheese sliced. Put halves back together, wrap in saran wrap, then aluminum foil, put on a large plate, and put a heavy weight on top of it. Let it refrigerate 8 to 12 hours. Take out of 'frig, let the sandwich come to room temperature, then cut into triangular slices and serve.

Roast chicken (whole or pieces).
Take whole or cut up chicken and put in freezer bag, close the bag. add 1 cup of italian dressing, shake well to coat all the chicken. leave in refrigerator overnight. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put chicken in a roasting dish and put in oven. After 15 minutes or chicken is browned turned over and after another 15 minutes lower heat to 350 and completely cover chicken with foil. Cook for another 60 minutes. Add some cut up vegetables like carrots, broccolli, zuchinni. Cut into b ite size pieces and put in with chicken ad let cook another 30 minutes. Totally cooking time about 2 hours. When you take the chicken out of the oven let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes or when you cut it will dry out.

Bordele' Chicken

It's the bomb!

Ingredence:
Chicken breasts and chicken legs (with the bone in) thawed.
Olive Oil (4 table spoons per 4 breasts and 4 legs)
Several Cloves of real Garlic (to taste)
White Onion (one large)
2 Table spoons sweet cream butter per (4 breasts and 4 legs) 3 Table spoons per (6 breasts and 6 legs).

Slice Garlic (very thin) Mince Onion very fine
Pour Olive Oil in skillet, heat medium
Saute' sliced garlic and onions until garlic almost disolves in olive
oil.

In deep baking dish arrange chicken so that all peices are flat on bottom. Pour sauce over chicken.

Chop more garlic and onion and skatter over chicken. Slice sweet cream butter and place one plat on each piece of chicken.

Bake at 400 degrees until done. approximately 20 minutes

Dash with garlic powder for extra garlic flavor when you flip chicken. flip chicken after 10 minutes
