Marriage is the ultimate commitment! If you are willing to marry someone then that should mean that you are vowing to spend the rest of your life loving, caring, sharing, growing, supporting, being faithful, being honest, encouraging, uplifting, and making a family with this person. If you cannot see any / all of this in your future together then you probably should not be getting married! It is so sad that nowdays marriage is made a mockery because people cannot understand the meaning. Do not use the word love so loosely!!!

Marriage: a life long commitment to each other, sharing life's ups and downs as well as a 50% split in the house hold chores.
to be in love with your partner at all times even when they do something that drives you crazy. and to have open and honest communication at all times.
getting your partner little gifts even when it's not a "special day".
doing little things with each other to keep the love alive.
also 100% faithful to each other if that's the life style you choose.
however some people take more than one partner for a marriage legal or not that's there life style choice and who is to say whats right or wrong with it?

Marriage is completely unnatural and goes against the circle of life, I love strawberries but if I had them for breakfast, lunch and dinner everday, I'd have to have a peach now and again or I'd crack up...
Marriage is a convenient way for lonely people to share there loneliness, if should be frowned upon and the free spirit embraced...there's nothing wrong with wanting to live you life without getting married yet society dictates that there is something wrong with you if you don't marry.

Long live the free spirit!!!
