Outlook Express is notoriously bad for having security vulnerabilities. Whenever I install Windows on a machine, I immediately uninstall that program because of the problems it causes. I highly recommend Mozilla Thunderbird. You can configure it to work with multiple accounts, and the accout view allows you to keep them all separate which makes account management easier. Best of all, it's free!
As another responder noted, the free accounts you get from Hotmail and Yahoo do not allow POP access. You have to upgrade them to be able to use an email client. Google mail, on the other hand, allows POP access without having to pay for an upgrade.

To pool them all together, I really do not know. Outlook express is a good email utility.
I also have several email address, I cut them down and only use 2. One for important stuff, and one for friends and junk mail.

I use Mozilla Thunderbird. It has WONDERFUL spam filtering. It also does not use ActiveX controls for rendering HTML mail like Outlook does. This makes it MUCH less likely to get virus or spyware through e-mail.

MS outlook is good, bt to use it with yahoo or hotmail, u'll need to pay them(yahoo/hotmail), they dont provide pop3 or imap access for free.
