For Abram, blameless meant for him to do what God had directed him to, and to not to do what God had told him not to do.
And of course if Abram did sin to ask God to forgive him.

I searched my Strongs Concordance, and it is not in there. They have the word blameless, but not for Gen. 17
They do however have blameless as in Hebrew word naqiy, meaning clean, clear, exempted, free, GUILTLESS,innocence. The scriptures where it is used Gen 44:10. Jos 2:17

For someone who claims disbelief in the Bible, you sure try to pick it apart a lot. God was telling Abram He wanted Him to be a righteous person.

Basically, it meant for him to live outside the bondages of sin by practicing his faith every day. To be blameless means that God is unable to find any sin in a person's life that they haven't asked forgiveness of.

It refers to the mistaken idea that sin is real. It is not.
Organised religion tries to misinterpret these passages that are found all through the bible so they can continue merrily on their guilt trip.
If you were raised to believe in sin it seems like it has to be real.
It requires a great effort to readjust your thoughts to see the truth that sin is an invention intended only to induce guilt.
This nonsense is what drives many to think of themselves as atheists.

In the Bible, blameless means without sin. In this case, God forgave Abraham all of his sins.

It means people always balme the guy walking in back, I'll take thehit, you go first...
Or maybe people are usually supposed to walk behind God, but he has permission to go first...
Or, based on evidence, it means being a believer means never admitting you're wrong.

Covenant
An everlasting Covenant that God made with him. A Covenant that will be preserved forever.
Be a light in this dark world of sin.
