Well, some are just animal words used as insults:
b*tch=female dog
a$$=donkey
I don't see either as a swear word, personally, because they're just words from the animal kingdom.

all curse words have old origins, dating back many years. they weren't all made up by one person, they just developed out of other words. it's called etymology.
for example:
Etymology- One theory of where the word s h i t came from was an acronym, to help sailors ship manure across bodies of water. Any crates with manure in it was labeled with S H I T- Ship High In Transfer. One would store manure high on the ship, in order to reduce the leaking into the water.

well i have a story...i was told that the word fu*k comes from back in the day when you needed permission from the king to wed..and on your wedding night you would get a letter nailed on your door that stated "fornication under consent of king" so everyone just started say fu*k.....hahaha i dont know if its true.

i dont know but i think the best word is damn thats not swearin.so all u hear in my house is damn this damn that it all good cause my kids dont swear.
