A Wiccan ceremony differs from person to person coven to coven. Usually in a coven a ceremony will begin by casting the circle (deosil or widdershins depending on the phase of the moon) using either salt or a thick black cord. Sometimes a metaphysical circle will be drawn using an athame (a black handled dagger used in Wiccan rituals) or a natural wand. Then the calling of the corners begin. Again this differs from person to person, but the cardinal directions and their corresponding elements are invoked. Sometimes angels are invoked as well. Now depending on the ritual the wiccans may be sky clad or not. Usually in a coven an offering is made to the God and Goddess during this time. Usually an earthen bowl of water or mead is placed between the gold/white and black/silver candles (these colors represent the goddess and god respectively).

Usually in a coven ritual the High Priestess or Priest will lead, and the others will follow. If it is a small coven, all members will take place equally in a ritual.

Contrary to belief, usually no blood is shed for any ritual, as it is disrespectful.

The basic ritual usually has symbolic colors and items, depending on the time of the ritual.

Now I am a solitary wiccan, so my Wiccan ceremony is different then a covens. You have to remember that their are only 8 Wiccan Sabats, so these are the main times to have a ceremony or worship. Each Sabbat has a many different ways to celebrate, and many different symbols. It can differiantiate so much- there's ceremonies were you jump over a fire to purify yourself (Litha), have yourself tied up and blindfolded and bathed naked in the woods (this is an initiation ceremony), have sex (Beltaine), collect herbs (maybon). So as you can see it really differs. If you want inforamtion on a certain type of worship ceremony or ritual, I'd be glad to help!

It depends alot on which tradition within Wicca. We all have slightly different ceremonies. Some are preformed by a coven with a High Priest and High Priestess leading the ritual, others are less ritualistic, and others still are done by inidividuals (solitaries). Bluefirewitch has given you some excellant video links to check out. You might want to search www.witchvox.com and see if any groups in your area will be preforming a public ritual that you could attend. Lughnasadh is coming up soon, so there may be some groups announcing public ceremonies right now. That would answer all of your questions.

For the most part, Wiccan ceremonies are very much like Catholic masses in that they are lead by multiple priests/esses. There is usually an invocation (opening) a lesson (mass) and a closing. Different covens have different sensibilities and cultures. Some are very active and vocal and energetic. Others can be very quiet, reserved and dogmatic.
Usually, in a good coven, there will be a definate purpose for the ceremony, a direction. All present will be asked to pray and focus on one aspect or trouble facing the group.
You can change up the wording and the props but it's pretty much the same as any other church. Normally, the reall "off the wall" covens are lead by newbies or crazies and, while they have their place, one should never feel compelled to do or speak something they do not fully believe. trust your gut on that one and you'll be fine.

i can tell you only the public version: there is a High Priest and a High Priestess. it starts with calling the corners (north, east, south, west). then a calling to the old gods & the divine couple. a circle is casted, incensed and sparged with salt & water. for each season a specific agenda. raising the power, make magic, party. then, farewell to old gods and the divine couple, farewell to the corners, the circle is undone.
merry we meet, merry we part to merry we meet again.
