Josiah,

Have you talked directly to art schools themselves? I know if the individual is talented enough, the school itself will sometimes provide full (or partial) scholarships.

Lots of Luck

Check with schools, but I don't think you will find it. You can dig and find a number of small grants you can apply for. And they can add up if you search long enough.
Most schools even have counselors who will help you dig or tell you where to dig.

As I stated in other answers on these pages, our society does not respect art as much as sports. And you can tell that by your problem...no art scholarships, but if you had the ability to kick, pitch, throw and knock someone down you could get a sport scholarship everyday of the week.

I agree with the first post.I attend California College of the Arts. My school has awarded me a partial scholarship for $8,800 dollars, plus a pell grant. You should set up an appointment with your financial aid counselor, and tell him/her your needs. They usually are good at finding a solution.

Good Luck

I'm in a slightly similiar situation. If you're graduating from high school try your guidance counselor, and if not then try the websites of the colleges you're trying to attend. Also:try these websites..
