Yesterday I went to Mc Donalds with my mom and her daycare. I wasnt hungry but I had a large fry. Then when I got home I still ate somethings. Later on she is tell me that I am "skipping" lunch. Then, this morning, (i cant really eat breakfast cause i get a really bad stomache and she KNOWS THAT!) she is grilling me about what i ate. She wont listen to me! I dont "skipp" meals. Just because I dont want to have a greasy hamburger dosnt mean I dont eat at all! What should I do?

She's your mom, and no matter what you do, she's going to worry. If you devoured a big mac and large fry, she very well may be hounding you about not eating nutritious foods. (Even though she took you to McDonald's!) Just try to let her see you eating more often. If you're stuck at a place like McDonald's opt for something less greasy, like the new Asian salad... it's really quite good! And you should really try to get something in your stomach for breakfast. Even if it's just some OJ and a piece of toast with jam, it's better than nothing. If you get stomach aches in the AM, try a glass of milk and dry toast, it'll help with the nauseous feeling. Good luck!

Sweetie, she's just worried about you. We mothers tend to get carried away with the 'grilling' deal. She just wants to make sure you're getting enough to eat, and what you are eating is good for you. I know you said eating breakfast gives you a stomach ache (I don't like to eat when I get up either), but you should at least have a big glass of orange juice or a breakfast bar. Gee, do I sound like a mom or what???

Sit down with Mom and quietly discuss what you would like to eat and what you don't....tell her you would rather eat a salad, say than a greasy burger( Good for you!) Hate to say it but your Mom is going to induce bad eating habits ...which lead to all sorts of eating disorders and self-esteem problems....If eating breakfast bothers your stomache(one of the kids can't eat breakfast either...many people cannot) just make sure you eat a balanced lunch and dinner. Eat plenty of veggies and fruits and protein. If Mom sees you eating like that..I am sure she will back off. She does sound concerned, but she needs to stop nagging. Show her that you are a sensible eater by eating a balanced HEALTHY diet.....good luck!

Just tell her that you are not hungry and you have a bad stomache. Tell her also that you don't like such places as Mc Donalds where they serve horrible things which should not be touched what to speak of being eaten. Practice nonviolence and give up eating meat. You will be happier!

Listen to your mother. Don't skip meals. Why did you eat "somethings" when you got home if you weren't hungry? You should have gotten a kid's meal and not just a fry. It would have satisfied her.

You don't hate her over this. You guys just aren't communicating well right now. Tell her that you want to talk about it with out a lot of emotion and arguing. Be patient to get your point understood by her. Then Listen, because she has a point too. She sounds like she's just concerned for you.

i have the same problem with my mom right now. she thinks i am anorexic - but im not! I'm not sure there is much you can do. Once it is in their heads its hard to get it out. My guess would be to just eat those greasy burgers in front of her. but you can't do much about breakfast. good luck !

Hate is a pretty strong word. Your mom is just looking out for you. Just talk to her, tell her what you just wrote. She is your mom and she has every right to be worried about you, she loves you. Take it from me, I wish my mom were here to still give me a hard time... It may seem like she is nagging you, but remember the more they nag the more they love you, and in the end that is all that matters.
