I'm sure there are products out there for deaf people. I would imagine that they have flashing lights instead of or along with alarms. I would check with Radio Shack if you can, or get someone else to call them and ask about it. They are pretty helpful and knowledgeable. I got my home alarm there, pretty cool!

Well i dont know if they do it anywhere including Kansas but get a light that blinks in red or some noticable color when the door bell rings or when the smoke alarm goes off. Call an electrician and see if they'll hook the light p for you..

Most social services offices should be equipped with an interpreter to aid you in asking questions regarding where to find assistance as a deaf person. There are devices out there that flash the lights when the doorbell rings, and I'm presuming they would have something similar regarding a smoke alarm. Go to your local social services office and at least begin to find assistance there. If they cannot give you information they may be able to direct you to where you can find it.

You might just have to buy this online. Large stores such as Home Depot and Lowes might have it or somebody from a hearing aid store could help you out. Also if there is a school for the deaf then they can tell you were they brought or ordered theirs from.

there some toys or gadgets that are sensore sensitive. Like if a door bell rings when it picks up the signal or sound inside the house it shakes or vibrates. You can have several sensore gadgets around your house so when one moves it can creat a chanin reactions to the others.

You can order these products online at any of these stores below. Some have catalogs they can mail to you if you're more comfortable ordering via mail. That is probably your best bet. Did you try looking in your phone book for any deaf-related agencies to see if they have any leads?

The beauty of the internet is that you can shop around for the lowest price on the product. I always do that before ordering.
Hope that helps!

There are lights that blink(she has 3 that are for different things one is phone one is door and one is a motion detector) when you need to hear something. I believe you can go online to the help for the handicap sites and find all that you need. I see if I can get the actual site for you and e mail it to you.

You can hoke up your door bell to the lights in your house. When the door bell rings the lights will flash.

I think you would need something with lights that flash, for during the day, and that also vibrated under your pillow to wake you up at night. You could probably get someone who is handy with electronics to fix these up for you if you can't buy them in a shop. Good luck.
