Yes you can , use spray paint . first sand the paddles
just enough until they loose luster . then apply the first light coat, let them dry, and do it again until the new paint has covered the old paint . One important note on the paddles , before you remove them , mark their position and up or down paddle . if you don't do it . the fan will loose it's factory balance! meaning it will rotate like a car tire out of balance , it will shake and you'll be sorry..

I would spray a small area on the hidden top side of the fan, while its still up there to see.. 1. Will it adhere to the surface. 2. How does it look. Remember don't switch it on until the paint dries unless you want to paint the walls also.

It really depends on the material they are made of: wood, plastic, etc. As long as you prep the surface first, sanding and priming you can paint them. If they are plastic then just clean then real good with alcohol and spray them with the "Fusion" spray paint. It works great on plastic.

Of course, you can spray-paint them. Clean them and spray away.

Why not? Sand them down, and spray away.
Turn the fan off first, though! :)
