The best thing to do would first be to take a vacation and clear your head. Then, you should really evaluate your job and how you really, honestly feel about it. I had a boss like that once, and I did love the work I did, so I learned to just go with the flow, and document everything I did, because a lot of times a mistake would happen because my boss was disorganized, but it would get blamed on myself or one of my coworkers. Second, if you have an opportunity to take another job or work for another manager at your same job, look into that. People are less productive when they're not happy at their job, and sitting through eight hours or more of something you don't like can be draining. Anyway, hope that helped :)

You can't generalize all women bosses from a few female bosses that you have had. Women are just as capable of "taking charge," recent studies have even shown that women are MORE aggressive than men. Secondly, women as a whole are probably more productive and organized and would probably be the kind of boss you would want. Women tend to be more tolerant, tendency toward innovation in solving conflicts, and a greater willingness to make exceptions to the rules. Plus here we need to consider that more women are getting college degrees and going to graduate school than men now so there is a good chance that the majority of bosses will be females in the future. I guess try to get used to it now.

I think the best thing to do is to look for a different job. If what you are doing is wearing you out, look for something you like. You shouldn't have to suffer because of the management team. The best way to enjoy life is to love your job, (at least like it). Good luck!

Simple answer. If you can't transfer withing the organization, look for another job and stop complaining. Nobody likes a complainer. If you don't like something, smart people do something other than complain. The saying goes for good reason, "Never explain, never complain"

time for a sit down with this boss!! don't confront him with HIS inadequacies, but explain your frustration. tell him that when "this and this and this" happen all at once, you feel less productive and efficient, and then ask if he knows of a better way for you two to handle future operations. brainstorm together.

Start looking for a new job because this one will never be any better than it is now.
