I'd also like to encourage you to download the free copy of the newest translation of the NET Bible. It was translated by some of the most recognized conservative scholars around. They use all the available manuscripts (including Textus Receptus) and give extended footnotes as to why they translated the way they did. (There is also an article by Dan Wallace [who's Greek Grammar book is the most current and most widely used for seminary courses] on why the King James was a good tranlsation in its time, but is no longer suitable for today)
