I have contemplated having plastic surgery to maybe not have quite as big of a HebrewSnout. However my friends and family say that would be selling out to be more American what do you all think?

I think "HebrewSnouts" are attractive (IMHO)! Not all men/women dislike larger noses. Live with what God has given you; use the money for something that will give Him glory, instead.

If you wish to have a plastic surgery and you can afford it, then do not listen to anybody else since no one can be under your skin to feel what you are not describing here but usually leads normal people to choose for a surgery.
It is very easy to say : it is natural, you have to accept yourself the way you are, but in fact I've seen a lot of people that changed for good after having taken away what they consider ugly - sometimes evident for the rest of the people, others not so much, in some cases even keeping a person shy and isolated because of their complex.
So, nobody else than you can take this decision. If you feel uncomfortable with your own image and a surgery can correct your problem, then choose between keep on feeling uncomfortable, avoiding photo's etc, years of psychoanalysis or just going for ONE plastic surgery.
Good luck, and in case you decide to go for the touch, please be sure that you are choosing a good Plastic Surgeon.

If u believe in God, u have to know that he made u the way he made u and to alter that for vain reasons is a sin, if u were in an accident, u may need plastic surgery to restore ur body, i think that is ok, but cosmetic sergery just to look better? nah, thats not cool

I wouldn't do it. Not for the reason your friends cite; that's just stupid.

I wouldn't do it because I think a unique nose helps keep you looking unique.

Look what happened to Jennifer Gray! She may be prettier, but she also blends right in with everyone else, and there's nothing else about her that stands out in any way.

If your nose is truly horrid, you can always have it reshaped a bit, but don't go overboard.

Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.

I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance or by NHS in UK.They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible.

As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.

my cousin got her breast reduction/liposculpture/buttoc... lift surgery in India through the forerunners healthcare.she is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise fore this forerunners healthcare company.i personally have seen the wondeful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company

Western beauty standards shouldn't dictate if you get surgery or not. I wouldn't. It would be a lot of money and pain for something unnecessary.

Is it worth it??? Destroying your original face?? And most improtant, do you have the money, because if you have the surgery you have to continue it. If you don't (then you know what happens) So yea, i would say No

who cares what they think. if it will make you feel better and it's not hurting anyone i don't see why you shouldn't get it. why is improving your self image or trying to better your self esteem such a bad thing????? p.s. i think they gave a really weak answer.
