End of last year, I was oblivious to important things in life.

2005, and this one is not much improved.

Got run over by a semi truck on the Highway last year while I was on a coach type bus, six people were killed, twenty one injured. I was airlifted to the hospital, was in coma for a little while, they put plates and screws in my face to hold my upper jaw to my fractured brain case. they operated on my shoulder this spring, it had finally healed enough that they could re-attach the tendons and cartilage( a lot of damage) I have no sense of smell, and my short term memory is shot (makes playing with and trying to learn about computers a real thrill). i am still in a treatment facility for the physio therapy and for the effects of the brain injury. I do not think that I will be able to return to my old job(High rigger scaffold{that is why scafool}). I read your poem, and it is not bad but it certainly does not reflect my attitude. I do not weep about what happened, as they say, when you are walking through hell you just got to keep walking. I have seen more medical people in this past year than I saw in the previous 48 years of my life.

Thanx for the opp. to vent a bit. Must go for the Physio terrorist and the exorcist and the career councillor and the neuro psycho and all those fine people who are trying to put this old Humpty Dumpty guy back together again, catch you later

the worst year in my life is when I got fired, from a full time job over what some crack head boss did, I had to work two jobs to support my daughter and myself, I had to live with ten ppl at my aunts nasty house, and I was catching the bus to work, school and walking everywhere I to be and last but not least the love of my life got engaged, broke up, found out she was pregnant, got back together and broke up again only to have to work it out for the baby (not so bad).

But through it all I kept my dignity, pride, got stronger, found happiness, got a better job, was strong in faith and moved in my own place again, bought a car and am happier now then I was then. Thanks be to God's plan for me.

I sould say 'birth' but that's probably too dark for some of you. It is hard to say. 2005 was really tough on me, though and so was 1999.
