The concept of the question is to determine how ones' thoughts and desires could just disappear into thin air when a body expires, when all along we have known that any form of energy, including thought, has to reappear in some format or the other. Shouldn't Karmic Reincarnation be the reason for inequality among humans born into the Universe, the differences being due to the variance in the nature of their deepest thoughts?

Reincarnation is truth, but few people remember having lived before. It is the only principle that can fully explain life, 'God' and the cosmos. It's very difficult to convince conventionally religious folks that the tiny nagging voice deep in the back of their minds is telling them the truth - the one that whispers "Maybe I have lived before..."

The mysticism of conventional religion is something we've become acquainted with in many lifetimes past, so the familiarity draws many people in. Christians are profoundly touched by the idea of Jesus, death and resurrection, because of its enduring familiarity in their past lives, and its rings-so-true message of eternal life.

While as a Christian, I don't believe a person's thoughts and hopes do expire on death, I also don't think there's any reason to believe in reincarnation.

The whole point of sexual reproduction is to produce new individuals who are totally unlike any human being that has ever lived before, or who will ever live again - in fact, the proof that this is so is evolution, which shows that the morphology and traits of a species changes over time.

Nobody just like you has ever lived before. Nobody just like you will ever, ever live again. You are completely, totally, and utterly unique. The thought that who you are is a recyclable receptacle that could house just about any soul is offensive to the dignity of your uniqueness - "Every hair on your head is counted," as a passage from my holy book goes....

Thought is a combination of an electrical energy - yes, you're right - and a matrix of chemical information called 'neural nets' stored physically on our brain.

Energy does indeed continue, but it changes form - in this case, it probably dissipates from the body primarily as heat energy. The neural networks slowly decompose as all human flesh does.

I don't think it's romantic, but that doesn't make it untrue.

This is a philosophy question. There might be no reincarnation but for sure there is a logical possiblity that our thoughts will go on in some other form.

Asking where your thoughts/desires go when your body dies is a bit like asking where the light went when the bulb burns out. The energy is still there, sure, but it is no longer organized. It just dissipates.

I don't believe in reincarnation , i do however agree that our personality , thoughts , emotions etc continue , but i believe in the continual existence of spirit , not in another body however but in spirit world , where we continue to learn and grow and evolve

Thoughts and desires aren't energy, they are processes and arrangements of matter. When the matter in which they take place (your brain) ceases to function, they cease to exist. Simple.

They don't disappear. They do not come back to earth is all. They go to be with God, if you accepted Christ(Heaven), or away from God(Hell). They do not come back to the earth.
