For around 2000 years, Honey has been used to treat a variety of ailments through topical application, though it was not until modern times that the cause of infection was understood. Now, modern research into the use of honey as an antimicrobial agent has revealed potential treating a variety of ailments. Antibacterial properties of honey are the result of the Osmotic effect, Hydrogen Peroxide effect, and high acidity.

It tastes nice. I think the actual medicinal stuff you don't eat you put on wounds so that is no excuse. I'm not sure if it is really that good for you at all but It tastes toooo delicious to give up. And it makes healthy foods taste as nice or nicer than unhealthy foods.

There are some benefits to eating honey, but I think the negative things outweigh the good. For one, it makes your blood sugar skyrocket and then crash, making you crave more sugary foods. And that, as we know, makes you gain weight.

It's Bee food, any human under 3 years shouldn't have it at all! It wasn't meant for us and our bodies have a rough time with it.
It's a sweetener, that's all.
Vegans don't touch honey for a good reason! The honey industry is trying to push the benefits of honey because well, they make more money that way! Truth is, they're not very nice to bees, they usually just kill off a whole hive for their hard work or take all their harvest and leave them with a few sugar crystals to survive the winter.
If at all possible, have organic Honey, but you're better off not to have it very often
